Square Enix has revealed at Fan Festival in London that an alliance raid based on called Echoes of Vana'diel is c🌳oming to the game alongside Dawntrail.

Final Fantasy 14 Fan Festi𒊎val is currently happening in London this weekend, letting fans of th𓃲e series meet up with one another to celebrate everything FF14. Although the opportunity to interact with other fans in such a community-focused game is great, the real highlight comes from the keynotes that happen at the Fan Festivals, which are always used to announce new things coming to Final Fantasy 14 in the future.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, for all its newfound openness, isn't tryin♊g to fix what was never broken𓆏 to begin with.

London's Fan Festival has been a doozy for news as, not only was the new dual-w♛ielding class Viper announced to be coming to Dawntrail, but it was also revealed that an , is coming to the game as part of t🌳he Dawntrail expansion. Dawntrail is currently scheduled for Summer 2024, so we can expect Echoes of Vana'diel at some point after the expansion's 🍎launch.

Not much was announced about the Alliance Raid itself aside from some key art and its title, Echoes of Vana'diel, but it being an Alliance Raid𒉰 series implies that it's going to be a pretty big crossover. For those who don't know, Alliance Raids are like dungeons that involve 24 players split between three different teams.

One notable example of this is the YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse 🍸alliance raid, which was a series of raids and stories based on Nier. That collaboration came with a bunch of different quests and rewards, so it seems likely that the Final Fantasy 11 Alliance Raid will have a similar amount of content.

Although the announcement of an Alliance Raid is big news, this actually isn't the first time that Final Fantasy 14 has crossed over with Final Fantasy 11. Back in 2015, which featured FF11's Iroha and aimed to promote the Rhapsodies of Vana'diel expansion for that game. That crossover event was later brought back in 2020 and 2022, but it seems ܫthat the Alliance Raid is going to be a much bigger crossover between the two.
