Once the primary race of Eorzea, the Elezen believe that the realm is their divine right from the Twelve and take tremendous pride that they are the "chosen race" of the gods. Additionally, in the First, the 🌱Elezen are known as "Elves," with many residing in Lakeland and the Crystarium. Elezen's are typically tall, slender, and proficient in archery.
Compared to other races, the Elezen have the best hearing and one of the longest lifespans out of the bunch. The Elezen also have two clans: Wildwood and Duskwight. The Wildwood tend to live in forests and cities, while the Duskwight avoids co🎐ntact with outsiders and reside mainly in caves. As a result, tensions are high amongst the clans, believing one another is traitors to the race.
6 Hrothgar
From the shores of Ilsabard, the hefty, leonine Hrothgar caused a panic wherever they showed up. Their sharp claws and fangs and inability to communicate initially lead to conflict amongst the other races of Eorzea. It wasn't until the Hrothgar learned the tongue common to the population of Eorzea that the fear dissipated and was welcomed with open arms across the realm. 4 Lalafell
The Lalafell initially came to Eorzea to pursuit trade and can now be found in large numb☂ers in almostꦫ every city in the realm. Native to the islands of the Southern Seas, Lalafell are sharp-minded individuals and are amongst the most well-established races in Eorzea. While they are the smallest of the races, they more than makeup for it in quanti🅺ty.
The Lalafell also has two prominent clans with the Plainsfolk and Dunesfolk. The Plainsfolk reside in grasslands, while the Dunesfolk lives in des𒅌ert regions. And, unlike most clans, the Plainsfolk and Dunesfolk have no ill will towards each other and often have inter-clan marriages, which deserves a proper La♑li-ho!
3 Miqo'te
Believed to come from the southern continent of Meracydia are the Miqo'te, 🌜the bestial, feline-like race that is a player-favori🌱te. The ancestors of the Miqo'te we know and love today came to the🐼 realm of Eorzea during the Age of Endless Frost in the Fifth Umbral Era. Furthermore, you can find Miqo'te, known as "Mystel," on the First in Amh Araeng, Eulmore, the Cry🍒starium, and the Rak'tika Greatwood.
Seekers of the Sun and Seekers of theꩲ Moon are the two primary clans of the Miqo'te. The former prefer hunting during the day, with the latter at night, which is said to be due to both clans' unique physical differences. There are also many tribes within the Seekers of the Sun and Moon, all with their own methods of hunting and culture.
2 Roegadyn
Descendants of the seafaring people of the Northern Empty, who settled ♔in Eorzea, are the absolute units known as the Roegadyn. Roegadyn are known for being fierce and barbaric but are also held to high standards for being loyal, courageous, and compassionate. Furthermore, the Roegadyn consists primarily of Sea Wolves and Hellsguard, with the Sea Wolves containing most ༺of the populous. The Sea Wolves are descendants of the maritime people that sailed ♍the north, while the Hellsguard lives in mountainous regions. Roegadyn are easily the tallest race in Eorzea, possess almost unlimited stamina, and are like chiseled stone.
