4 𝓀 Objectives
There are six objectives in total for The Shisui Of The Violet Tides dungeon: Clear the Sogyoku Piscary, Defeat Amikiri, Clear the Kogyoku Palace, Defeat the Ruby Princess, Clea𒅌r the Shisui Temple, and finally, Defe💎at the Shisui Yohi.
The pathway through the is very straightforward, but be sure to avoid dirt mounds with antennae sticking out as they contain Buried Monkfish that will hit you with their Fish out of Water ability. There are also parts of the dungeon that are traversed via geysers, which sometimes require you to defeat all enemies in the immediate area to activate. Furthermore, there are six additional coffers outside of boss battles that can be found throug🐻hout the area.
3 💛 Boss Fight: Am𓃲ikiri
Amikiri is a very straight forward boss, you'll want to focus on its le🃏gs wherever possible as a priorit🌸y, as well as taking care of the Kamikiri adds that occasionally spawn.
The boss will use Sharpstrike on its main target, which deals a moderate amount of damage so be sure to keep your tank healed up. There are also times where Amikiri will target a player and throw an AoE at them. This will stun the target player, as well as any other party members nearby, and then Amikiri will move to that target꧃ to cast Shuck, which usually kills the target. This is the time during which Amikiri's legs become vulnerable, so to avoid a party member's death, focus on the legs as destroying those w💮ill interrupt Shuck as well as inflicting Vulnerability Up on Amikiri.
When the Kamikiri adds spawn, they will mark the non-tank party members for Digest, though if they spawn while Shuck is being ca𝓰st they will instead target the three party members not marked for Shuck. Digest drops a puddle beneath the player that inflicts Dropsy🔯 when it is stood upon. You can cancel Digest by killing the Kamikiri before it completes its cast.
Possible rewards from Amikiri's coffers include the Ruby Tide bracelets, Ruby Tide rings, Shisui Obis (belts), and﷽ Shisui Zori 🔜(footwear) for the various classes.
2 Boss๊ Fight: Ruby Princess
Ruby Princess is the next boss, which isn't difficult but can be annoying if your party members don't pay at🍎tention to the mechanics.
Periodically, Ruby Princess will cast Seduce on all party memb🌺ers, which causes them to walk towards her as she casts Coriolis Kick, a large AoE attack that deals a fair amount of damage to all in range. To avoid Seduce, players will want to jump in one of the four boxes situated around the boss arena. The boxes cast the "Old" debuff o﷽n players, turning them into crones who are unaffected by Seduce. Once the box is used by a player, it won't reset until after Seduce has been cast, so each player needs to access an individual box as they can't be used more than one time during Seduce.
Ruby Princess will also sometimes cast Abyssal Volcano, which as well as casting a large AoE will mark two different players with an AoE 🌳that will follow them. To avoid this, players will want to run away from it, though they need to be careful not to run into one of the boxes, as when hit by the "Old" debuff they will run slower, causing them to be hit by the AoE. Lastly, Ruby Princess will target the tank with Tornadogenesis, a move that deals moderate damage, so be sure to keep your tank looking healthy.
Possible rewards fromꦬ Ruby Princess's coffer include the Ruby Tide earrings, Ruby Tide necklaces, Shisui Kote (hands), and Shisui✨ Mengu (headgear) for the various classes.
1 Boss Fight: Shi🍎sui ♔Yohi
The is Shisui Yohi, which again is a straightforward, easy fight that ju🎉st needs players to pay attention to certain mechanics, add spawns, and to 🧔avoid its Mad Stare move.
One of its main abilities is Foul Nail, which it unleashes on the tank and performs a double attack that deals a decent amount of damage, so keep an eye on your tank's health. The boss will also cast Thick Fog on all players, not only dealing damage to everyone, but also summoning water that hides Shisui Yohi. During this time, three Churn bubble enemies will a🌳ppear and players will need to kill them as quickly as possible, as while the Churns are present they will stack Dropsy debuffs on players.
Once these have been killed, Shisui Yohi will reappear and you will be able to tell where it will emerge due to the tell-tale ripples it leaves behind. Be sure to stay away from these ripples as when Shisui Yohi reappears it will cast Bl♌ac🐻k Tide, which will deal damage to anyone close by, as well as inflicting Vulnerability Up.
Shisui Yohi will also summon two shark adds, Naishi-no-jo and Naishi-no-Kami, both of which will target a player and begin to cast Bite and Run. This move deals a large amoun🦩t of damage, so you'll want to kill them both before they finish casting. Naishi-no-jo will target a random DPS and is the weaker of the two. Naishi-no-Kami is stronger and targets the healer, but its cast timer is also longer. If these adds are not destroyed before the next Th🔯ick Fog phase, they also become hidden and cannot be targeted, but will continue to execute their Bite and Run moves. This can cause serious damage to your party if you are not careful.
After summoning the shark adds, Shisui Yohi will cast Mad Stare, which inflicts anyone looking towards it with Hysteria, causing players to lose control of their characters as they run around the ar🐲ena. Avoid Mad Stare by turning your back toꦕ the boss.
Possible rewards from Shisui Yohi's coffer include Ruby Tide weapons, Shisui Joi (body armor), Shisui Kohakama (pants) for the various classes, as well as the Bombfish minion and The Open Box .
