One of the best things about 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy 14 is the wealth of diverse content on offer. Whether you want to complete quests, level different jobs, craft, gather, hunt down collectibles, or simply socialise with fr🐈iends, there’s plenty to do. There are also Deep Dungeons, roguelite multi-floor instances that feature their own leveling systems and exclusive rewards which can be tackled either as a party or solo. At present, there are only two Deep Dungeons in the game — Palace of the Dead and Heaven-on-High.

Angelus Demonus is a Twitch and YouTube Partner known for his PvP exploits in The Feast and his Deep Dungeon solo runs in FF14. Demonus has 💫been streaming for over three years and primarily spends his time on the Cactuar and Behemoth servers. He often switches up his main job role depending on the expansion or task at hand but finds Red Mage to be one of the top choices for ta🧜ckling Deep Dungeon content.

Demonus has solo cleared Palace of the Dead 22 times with a variety of jobs and has solo cleared Heaven-on-High a total of 38 times. Impressive as that is, he’s well-known for something even more prestigious — ꦚbeing among the first to solo clear both Deep Dungeons in Final Fantasy 14 history.

“In Heavensward, I built a reputation in the PvP communit⛎y getting fairly high ranks in🎃 The Feast as Summoner,” Demonus tells me. “In Stormblood, I started to push Deep Dungeon and make content for it for a bit, but took a little more priority on PvP, specifically in The Feast, until Heaven-on-High got released in July 2018 during the 4.35 patch. I cleared Heaven-on-High sixth in the World in August 2018, and later on, returned to Palace of the Dead after about a one-year hiatus from that specific game mode, and cleared Palace of the Dead as fourteenth in the world in March 2019.”

Deep Dungeons are particularly challenging, but they’re especially difficult when attempted on your lonesome. The content doesn’t scale should you go in alone, so regardless of whether you are solo or grouping together with three other players, the enemies are the same difficulty. Demonus explains that Palace of the Dead solo runs can take between 13 and 16 hours, while Heaven-on-High can take betw🍨een five and eight hours. Demonus is now a mentor t🍎o others, using his platform to help other aspiring Deep Dungeon solo players.

“In Shadowbringers, I shifted my focus into ‘live tutorials’ and provided video content for Deep Dungeon clears with explanations on how I got the clears, which was definitely a category that barely existed on any video platform,” Demonus says. “Currently I suppose I am known asไ ‘The Deep Dungeon Guy’, as people say. I've definitely taken the role of helping as many people as possible get th𒐪eir solo clears, whether it be for ‘The Necromancer’ or ‘Lone Hero’ [titles rewards for completing Deep Dungeons solo].

“I've put out many ‘live tutorial’ videos, which has me over-explain my runs with as much information as I am able to talk about, and it has become something very useful to many new runners. I initially wondered if putting up six-to-eight hour VoDs without editing would be something people would even bother watching, but it's been quite interesting learning from viewers that it's been extremely useful for their own clears. I've been told runners have my video up on another monitor as they are climbing and they climb the floors along with me in real-time! I be🍰lieve in showcasing a whole run without edits because of how random every individual run goes and I don't want to skip anything, as every detail could be important. Viewers have taken this as useful to them despite the length!”

So what’s next after you finally solo complete the Deep Dungeon content? Well, if you’re up for more of a challenge, you can attempt a brand new clear on a different job altogether. Demonus has cleared both dungeons using a variety ꦡof jobs and explains that doing so keeps the challenge alive.

“Maintaining focus is probably the most difficult part of Deep Dungeon, as well as not makiಌng mistakes for a run that takes many, many hours,” Demonus says. “On my end of things, trying various jobs has definitely kept the challenge of trying to solo Deep Dungeon very high. Trying to figure out how each job can accomplish the goal 𝕴gives very unique looks and strategies, and that has been very fun.”

But that’s not all Demonus is known for, unlike most players who use either a gamepad or a keyboard and controller co𓆏mbo, he surprisingly plays with a keyboard-only setup. You might be wondering if this is the secret to Demonus’s success, but the truth is that it’s jus🌃t a matter of preference.

“In♔ Final Fantasy 11, I learned how to playꦛ ‘keyboard-only’,” Demonus explains. “The mouse functionality was pretty bad, but also as a laptop gamer, it wasn't convenient to keep plugging in my mouse. I played on a keyboard for my entire FF11 career, and when I shifted to FF14, my first thought was trying to see if I can play the same way I did on FF11.

“In the beginning, it worked, although I've had to figure some of the things out, such as gꦕround targeting and whatnot. But over a couple of years, I slowly modified keybinds and right now I have FF14 at about 98 percent keyboard-only gameplay, ground targeting included. The only thing I need a mouse for is getting to the Character Select screen when you log into the game, and I use my mouse to manage the in-game map! There are probably ways to do it with my keyboard but it's okay.”

Final Fantasy 11 was the series’ first MMORPG and shares a 🍸lot of similarities with its successor, including its own rogue-lite content called Nyzul Isle Investigation. Unsu꧟rprisingly, Demonus was also a fan of that during his FF11 days.

“I never did Nyzul Isle solo, as during the time I played FF11 it was exclusively group content, but the concept of it was addicting!” he says. “When I first started doing Deep Dungeon, Nyzul Isle was always the thing I immediatelyᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ remembered, especially the debuffed floors and powerups you get. I still remember a hilarious moment doing Nyzul Isle where we got to a boss floor for the first time with my friends, and we got no White Magic as a debuff. We died, but after we collectively facepalmed we tried our best to win with whatever tools we had.”

Demonus uses his ဣexperience and wealth of knowledge to help others get into Deep Dungeon content and succeed in solo runs. He recommends that beginners start with Heaven-on-High first unless you’re looking to get a specific title, and emphasises that it’s natural to die a lot in solo attempts, just as with any roguelite game.

“I do think I've earned some respect for being crazy enough to do a challenge like this on a consistent basis,” Demonus tells me. “But what has been most important to me is seeing clear after clear from runners utilizing the reso🔜urces the Deep Dungeon Communit𝕴y has constructed over the past two to three years. Almost every day we see someone earn either The Necromancer or Lone Hero, and knowing we had some hand in that success has been an awesome feeling.

“I've met some amazing people having streamed 𒆙on Twitch, both viewers and content creators alike. A shoutout to my twitch team: Team Drifter, who i꧃s an amazing and supportive group of content creators. I do very different content from my teammates, but our passion for FF14 has brought us together, in large thanks to Darian Hart, our team master and commander, and I've felt very much a part of this team. For doing something off on my own, but to still feel included in the FFXIV community as a whole, is a wonderful feeling.”
