Roaring Star

AoE

Deals damage to all party members and summons two sets of two flame orbs on adjacent sides of the arena. These orbs will then fire across the length of the arena, dealing damage in a line AoE. Watch where both line AoEs will appear and move to the safe quadrant of the arena to avoid ꩵthis attack.

Coiled Strike

AoE

This attack deals damage in two wide cone AoEs, with two safe spots that depend on the colℱo🐼r of the blades.

• Blue blades: Safe spot to the left of the solid blade.
• Orange blades: Safe spot to the right of the solid blade.

Celestial Flame

AoE

Summons three sets of three flame blades in lines around the arena that will then explode in the order they are summoned in. Stand in the unsafe area of the s🍒econd or third blades🀅, then quickly move into the safe area created when the previous set of blades explodes.

Dual Pyres

AoE

Gulool Ja Ja will attack one half of the arena, and then the other half. The order is indicated by the number of markers above his blades. For example, if his left blade has a "oneཧ" marker above it, he will attack the lef🙈t side of the arena first.

Immediately after, two sets of intersecting line AoEs will appear. Avoid the first by standing in the unsafe ꦿarea of the second set, then move into the newly created safe area to avoid the second set.

Steelfold Strike

Line AoE/Circle AoE

Gulool Ja Ja will strike the arena two times in a large cross AoE, while smaller circle AoEs explode around the arena at random. The line AoEs are indicated by a glowing white cross.

Outer Wake

Ring AoE

A large ring AoE with a safe spot directly under the boss. Quickly move here after Steelfold Strike to avoid taking damage.

Fallen Star

AoE Markers

Immediately after Outer Wake, all players will be marked with an AoE Marker. Quickly spread out to avoid overlapping these.

Lay of the Sun

Consecutive Stack Marker

Wuk Lamat will marked with a Stack Marker. Group up with her to split the damage of the incoming attack, and stay grouped until the full attack is finished.

Oathbind

Summon/AoE

Gulool Ja Ja will trap four party members in Oaths of Fire, preventing them from moving or attacking. Then, he will jump to one side of the arena and begin long-casting Noble Trail down the center of the arena. With the help of Koana's Limit Break, quickly destroy the Oaths of Fire to free these party members then move out of the way of Noble Trail.

Inner Wake

Point-blank AoE

A small AoE surrounding the boss. Move away to avoid.

Battle Breaker

Scripted AoE

Gulool Ja Ja will become untargetable, combine his blades, then strike the arena repeatedly with damage. Luckily, Wuk Lamat will protect your party. Watch the cutscene, and then the battle 🌞will resume.
