The Final Fantasy series loves to pay homage to its earlier games, and as such we see the same monsters, summons, items, names, and more appearing over and over again. So it should come as no surprise that Ixion, a summon that debuted in Final Fantasy 10, has since made an appearance in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy 14 as a rather rare FATE boss.
Ixion is one of the more elusive special Boss F🎐ATEs as it doesn't have a specific trigger to spawn it and even if it does appear, you need a certain item to be able to deal any damage ౠto it. We're going to cover everything you need to know right here, including spawn conditions and the awesome rewards you can earn by defeating it.
Where Ixion Appears And Its Spawn Conditions
The 'A Horse Outside' special Boss FATE spawns in The Lochs at one of the following locations: (X:6, Y:16), (X:16, Y:22), or (X:29, Y:10) — all of which are shown on the map above.
Once this FATE has been completed, its window will not re-open for at least another 36 hours, at which point there is a chance of it spawning again d🌜uring the following 36 hours. You can check the current window status of this 🍒FATE for your world on .
Like other special Boss FATEs, it does not appear on your map, but it will appear on the mini-map if you are close enough. You will know when this FATE spawns as the weather in The Lochs will change to Quick Levin — this weather effect only occurs when Ixion is on th🐲e map.
When Ixion spawns, you cannot do any damage to it unless a player uses a Stygian Ash on it, as it has an invulnerability shield that can only be removed with this item.
Only one Ash is needed per FATE, these are ear🤪ned as random rewards from Gazelleskin or Gaganshi🍎n maps, or you can simply purchase one from the Market Board.
Completing the 'A Horse Outside' FATE with a Gold Rating will earn you the 'Ride On' achievement and some Ixion Horns. The number of horns you receive depends on how well yo🔜u did in the FATE and which rating you received.
It is easier to earn a Gold Rating by partying up 📖with other players.

*If you use a Stygian Ash on Ixion, you are guaranteed a Silver Rating regardless of whether you were in a party or not.
How To Get The Ixion Mount And Minion
Once you've earned yourself some Ixion Horns, head to Rhalgr's Reach and speak to Eschina at (X:13.8, Y:11.8). Under the 'Wondrous Sundries' option, she has a variety of wares available. The items you can purchase with Ixion Horns are listed꧅ bel𓄧ow.
