This week, the Western 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy 14 community was surprised to discover that Japanese players utilise an incredibly fair system when it comes to looting in duties. Japanese content creator that explained the ‘Take from the Left’ system used in Party Finder, where the party all roll on one item at a time starting from the left, and whichever player wins the roll then leaves the partyไ afterward to allow someone else the chance to bag the next prize.
This system means ꩵthat you don’t end up with one player obtaining all of the loot if they happen to be very lucky — which happens more often than you think — and instead ensures that there are multiple winners when it comes to highly coveted loot. Imagine doing a raid safe in the knowledge that four out of eight pla♋yers are guaranteed a drop. It would make the grind so much more bearable. After all, doing run after run and having no luck with rolls can be pretty frustrating.
This seems like the fairest system the community could em꧋ploy and would certainly make many players happy if Western servers adopted it. Unfortunately — much like Magnai trying to woo Y’shtola — it’ll never work out. Many Western players don’t have the same sense of shared etiquette to make this reliable, and the system only works if everyone follows it.
We already have issues of players being overly greedy in-game. It doesn’t matter if Party Finder groups set specific loot rules, players often break them to get what they want and just say, “lol it’s just a game, bro” as the party rages at them for looting when they shouldn’t. What more can you do? We’ve all been in farming parties where players leave as soon as they get what they want, despite this being frowned upon or sometimes ex🐠plicitly stated as a no-no in th🍃e Party Finder information. Many just don’t care about the others who helped them and are still waiting to get the item themselves. When they have what they want, they leave.
♓I don’t doubt that players will start introducing this rule in Western Party Finders, and plenty of groups will use it properly, but there will also be many who get burned by some idiot who doesn’t care and just wants to loot all the things. There are only so many times players can ဣget screwed over in Party Finder before they give up on trying to uphold a standard that not everyone abides by.
It’s a shame because in theory the Take from the Left ♎system is perfect, but in practice — at least in the West — we’re just too greedy to use it properly. While many Western players continue to do right by each other, unfortunately, we will always have a large number of players who are too selfish and greedy to ever have the same level of success as Japanese players.
