With Clive's helping out collect materials for the project, Mid is a few steps away from completing the Airship of her dreams. The only thing stopping her are some moral questions that hold humanity's fate in balance.

Location: Dalimil Inn, Dhalmekia

No good deed goes unpunished, but no good deed also goes unrewarded. L'ubor was outed to be a Bearer while saving two children, and while being a Bearer should've been overlooked in favor of his good deeds, Dalimil's people think otherwise and believe him to be a liar for hiding his abilities.

Part 2 of Lines in the Sand is L'ubor's redemption and is proof that, Bearer or not, he only means to do good for the people of Dalimil. Even if the people initially rejected him upon uncovering his secret, this story quest proves that Bearers are just humans who are capable of either good or evil.

5 Litany Of Errorsꦓ ღ

Location: The Hideaway

What makes a man deserving of life when everybody else around him has died? Herman, a Cursebreaker, lived with survivor's guilt over the death of all his adoptive brothers and sisters in an orphanage full of Bearer children. He asks permission from Clive to go to The Badbach Conservatory, even if the aetherflood could risk his life.

Clive goes to the conservatory in Herman's stead, and what he finds are accounts of torture inflicted on Bearer children who were forced to be soldiers. It's a miracle that Herman lived through it all, but reading the accounts and the letters will give you nightmares.

4 Friend Of The People 🦂

Location: Sanbreque, Northreach

Vigilante justice is often criticized, but in a world full of injustice, it might be the only way the oppressed can fight back. Quinten was once a man of t꧂he law and worked for the judiciary. He has always hated the unjust treatment of Bearers, and he thought꧑ the Lord Chief Justice shared the same beliefs until he uncovered a grim secret.
