After nearly a year of waiting for new information, we finally got a new trailer for Final Fantasy 16 during the most recent State of Play. Beyond giving us fresh look at how the game will play, that trailer seems to have inspired one modder enough that they've already added some moves inspired by the game into Kingdom Hearts 3.
(also known as TruebladeSeeker on YouTube) whose work we've previously featured before, including the 168澳洲幸运5开♍奖网:Kingdom Hearts 4-inspired grappling hook attack that they created for Sora following that game's first trailer. This time around, however, he's taking inspiration from Final Fantasy 16, .
The Hearts of the Dominance mod essentially gives Sora moves that are based on Clive's ability to use the abilities of Eikons. With this mod, players can now enter Dominance Stance to prepare which move they want to use, and then point the analogue stick in a specific direction to use a different Eikon's move.
Pushing up and pressing circle will use Phoenix Ascend, which has Sora rise into the air with a phoenix's wings behind him, clearly inspired by Ifrit. Holding left will activate Garuda's Vortex, which causes a massive tornado and then has Sora perform a spinning dive to the ground. Pressing left will have Sora perform Titan's Wrath, causing a massive shockwave and bringing a Titan's fist to the ground. Finally, pressing down activates Ramuh's Storm and lets Sora control a ball of energy before calling down pillars of lightning to attack.
Considering the number of custom animations and effects included with each mo♕ve, this mod is seriously impressive and close enough to the kind of attacks that Square Enix would officially include for Sora. Hire this man.
On the mod, , "I have been working on this since the release of the Dominance trailer. It's a complete coincidence that Yoshi-P's interview about Final Fantasy XVI, talked about Kingdom Hearts combat and its involvement with FFXVI. Either way, it's the perfect time to finish and show this off."
