168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy 16 not only took time in making great characters, but the monsters you'll battle with in-game are equally exciting to experience. From great visual designs to peculiar combat styles, you'll have your fill with the eclectic mix of monsters in the FF16 universe.
We've certainly had our fun with it, but for those who want a spoiler or two, knowing some details about your foes will help you develop in-game if you're having a problem with it. So, what can you expect, or what have you already encountered? We probably have a few common favorites.
8 Flame Liz🌜a𒁏rd
Flame Lizard is a boss monster who appears when you do the Fire and Ice Quest. Its body is on fire as the name suggests, and it's a spectacle to behold. Most modern fantasy games are not shy about going all out on character and creature design, and FF16 certainly puts a lot of other games to shame with the sheer visuals it serves.
Visuals aside, the battle with the Flame Lizard proves to be fun as it rams, swings around, and curls up into a ball. You'll need to be dodging pretty often, so keep that in mind. The Flame Lizard also dishes out an attack booster that makes him light his whole body on fire. What's more, he has another attack that makes him spew fire, so watch out for that one.
7 Lich
The Lich definitely takes place as one of the best monsters in FF16. Not only is it a veteran in the game series, but originally, this 💎monster was one of the Four Fiends that controlled the world in the first Final Fantasy game.
The Lich has mostly stayed similar in design for most of its reappearances in other games, but in FF16, it's changed completely. While it had a more classic Grim Reaper look 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:in other games, it's now transformed into a hairless blue alien monster that attacks you with its blue-skinned scythe, and this version is much more eerie and effective.
6 A✱kas🌄hic Morbol
Just like the Flame Lizard, you'll encounter the Akashic Morbol during the Fire and Ice quest. An evolved version of the Morbol, this one is one of the best monsters in the game for its visuals and attacks.
Adorned with tentacle-looking branched horns with moss on them, the Akashic Morbol is intimidating in both visuals and fighting style. It will deal you large AoE damage from its gas explosions that form around the battlefield like clouds, and truly, it's another terror to behold in the FF16 world.
5 ⛦ Undertaker ꦕ
A magnificent crystal-like monster in blue tones, the Undertaker can be found when you're going through the Into The Darkness quest. It's unique and has an awe-striking battle style, since it will start your fight by shooting a large blue beam out of its chest.
Nothing screams 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a good fantasy game like a beam-shooting crystal monster, after all. However, while this unique attack is visually stunning, the monster itself is not as mobile, and it won't turn around to hit you with the beam if you manage to go behind when it's already shooting it.
4 Iron Giant 𒀰
You'll meet the Iron Giant during the quest Buried Memories, and it looks like the crossover of an armored knight and a Gundam. Watch out for it, as it's quite the agile fighter, and the bulk of its attacks are centered around the large sword.
You would think that with a weapon like that, this is only a melee-type of fighter, but this monster also uses the element of lightning when it presses its gauntlet to the floor. It's quite mobile as well, so be ready to dodge, as it can attack you from many angles.
3 Coeurl
Probably one of the most memorable monsters you'll encounter in the game, Coeurl is a feline hybrid that you'll encounter during the quest Capital Punishment. This beast it's charged with electricity, and has two massive scorpion-like stingers protruding on both sides of its face. But even though its looks are amazing, it's not the most difficult foe to beat.
It does have one attack where it generates a lightning ball to fire at you, but for the most part, it's a predictable enemy. The only thing you'll need to look out for is that the space you battle with this beast is small, so dodging is your best resource.
2 White D🌌ragon
It just isn't a complete fantasy game without the resident dragon, and that's where the White Dragon comes in. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:There are other dragons in the game, but this one stands out among the rest thank to its cold white exterior and the fact that you encounter him at night, which just elevates the thrill of the battle. The White Dragon's element is ice, which explains his appearance.
You'll encounter this dragon during the quest called Fire in the Sky, and he'll be a formidable foe since he flies around, which will add an extra challenge to beat him because he shoots at you when he's on the ground or when he's flying. Watch out for what he shoots, because those ice crystals explode and turn into ice spikes when they come in contact with the ground.
1 Behemoth
Rightfully named after the biblical monster, Behemoth is a terrifyingly enchanting monster that you'll meet during the quest Streets of Madness, and from just its cutscene alone, you know you're going to be in for a good fight.
Be prepared when Behemoth pounces in the air at you straight from the get-go, because you'll need to be precise with your timing if you want to evade successfully. Behemoth will also prove a bit more unpredictable than some other foes since it goes out of the arena and sends out small comets from above him. For its menacing looks and unique combat style, you'll definitely remember your encounter with him.
