168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy 16 is a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:PlayStation console exclusive, but typically, that means a PC launch is still on the table. Yet that's not the case here, and anyone wanting to play the next mainline entry in the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy series will have to track down a PS5, as we have no idea when 🌃it will be coming ജto other platforms.
This, however, didn't have to be the case. Speaking in the run-up to Final Fantasy 16's launch next week, game producer Yoshi-P admits that the💯 team could have ported to PC, but just couldn't get it running in the time they had. Yet he makes it clear that a PC release will come further down the line, presumably when the studio has more time to optimise the game, rather than rush it out around the same time as the PS5 launch.
This information come🗹s courtesy of an interview with Yoshi-P, translated by Twitter user and Jꦗapanese gaming news source, @Genki_JPN. Here, Yoshi-P is said to have explained that he wanted the PC version of Final Fantasy 16 to have "seamless loading", something that the devs didn't have time to pull off while getting the PS5 version ready for its June 22 release date.
The good news at least is that when the PC port is released, it should hopefully avoid some of the issues that other games have faced. From the buggy 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Star Wars Jedi: Survivor port to the downright awful 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Last of Us Part 1 release, it certainly seems like PC gamers are an afterthought to some publishers for whatever reason. But with Square Enix seemingly holding off on a PC release of Final Fantasy 16, losing out on a huge playerbase, that should mean that i🌼t launches in a much more playable state.
Of course, it's also good news for PS5 owners, as it means that this version of the game has had the team's undivided attention. And it's safe to say that it will need it, as this is the first F🅘inal Fantasy game to be exclusive to PS5, with Crisis Core Reunion and Strangers of Paradise releasing onto last and current gen. They might be the last games in the series to do so, as we're unlikely to see Square Enix take a step back after making such a huge release a PS5 exclusive.
Final Fantasy 16 will launch on June 22.
