Your journey in Valisthea was seen through Clive's eyes. You can't control most of the party members full-time, if at all, so you might be wondering if there's any point in ranking anybody that joined your party. If anything, you probably think that Clive's the best, and there's no discussion to be had.
But Clive's journey, and even his fate, would've been different without his friends and family. 's gameplay and story were enhanced by these party members. Even if they don't hit the hardest, they're definitely memorable for epic battles and memorable, heartwarming moments in the game.
10 Tarja
Tarja is the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:best doctor in the Hideaway. As fate would have it, she'd also be caring for the Dominants that are terrible at self-care. You'll have the chance to include her in your party at the Letting Off Steam quest—if you choose to run errands with her.
She's a rather silent supporter, but she's essential to fixing the battle-hardy characters in the game and taking the brands off of people's faces with her skillful scalpel abilities. Overall, you probably wish you could have had her more in your own party.
9 Otto
Otto has become a familiar face in both versions of the Hideaway. He won't be with you all the time, but specific quests will make him a party member. He's most memorable for the role he played in shaping Clive's character prior to the events of the Letting Off Steam quest.
He says that all he did was help Clive choose hope over despair. But that act helped Clive overcome his helplessness towards fate's whims. Pushing people in the right direction isn't an easy job, especially when you're dealing with lively characters like Cid and Clive.
8 Wade
There weren't many left alive after the events of Phoenix Gate. Most that were loyal to the late Lord Rosfield either met their fate with the flames or suffered worse at the hands of Imperial soldiers. But Sir Wade proves that not all is lost and that a warrior's spirit isn't easily snuffed.
It's clear that Sir Wade hadn't forgotten Clive and recognized him from the moment he fought off the other Guardians of the Flame. Getting to fight alongside Sir Wade, even if only briefly, was a comforting and nostalgic experience—a great palate cleanser to the scene that happened before this meeting.
7 ♏ Byron Ros﷽field
Byron's a character that sprung out when things were falling apart, but his reunion with Clive was nothing short of heartwarming. Having the two reenact a skit of their favorite play was hilarious and unexpected, but it's a definite tearjerker.
Surprising as he is, none of you would've been prepared to see him scarf down Chocobo soup and leave all the fighting to his dear nephew while he watched and ate behind a tavern's counter. But for all his aversion to battle, you'll find him to be a reliable axe-wielding uncle who just wants to have a good adventure with his nephew.
6 Gav
Gav's not just the best tracker around, he's also a great friend there to look out for Clive and the gang. As Clive puts it, Gav's always behind enemy lines—he's always in precarious situations and excels at spying. Getting caught is just an occupational hazard.
Gav wasn't the most entrusted with the fighting part of the job, but it's clear that he offers help in a way unique to him. When you get to speak to him, you'll find that he's more than willing to keep himself 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:in the shadows if it means kee♍piไng his home and his found-family safe.
5 Dion Lesage 𝄹
After fending off his beast of an Eikon, Bahamut, you'll find yourself feeling a lot more sympathy for Dion. It wasn't entirely his fault that he was overcome with immense anger and grief, but he's a most sensible and gentle prince that wants the best for his people.
After he's calmed down, he's more than willing to lend his strength to Clive and Joshua. In more ways than one, his story parallels Clive's—but his great fighting abilities and kindhearted nature make him a pleasant party member to be around.
4 Jill Warrick 🌺
Jill was brave for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:confronting her past, and she's a compassionate character with little tolerance for death and war. Her story proved that there are emotions more important than fear, especially when she fought against her oppressor. But for a story built around her, it would've been better if you had more control over her abilities instead of having Clive run around to fight.
At least she got to shine by being the one to finish the job, and she's been a consistent companion up to the end.
3 ꧋ Cidolf🍨us Telamon
Cid was a guiding light to Clive, and not because lightning would often flash around him. He inspired Clive and Jill to fight for their right to die on their own terms, a philosophy that Clive later refines for the better. Cid was also there to stop Clive's rampage as Ifrit and was essential to helping Clive come to terms with who he is.
He was there for Cid and Jill and was🍸 willing to risk his arm for them (literally). For all his selfless work, he deserved much better than one last smoke.
2 Jos🐼hua Rosfield ಞ
Joining one of the toughest battles in the game with your own brother makes everything worth going through. You've been with Joshua from the start, and controlling his Eikon is a considerably fun experience—that's if you can put the life-and-death situation aside on both occasions.
If you focus on the fun aspect, Joshua's basically a guided missile dispenser against enemies on land and air. Battles involving the undying Phoenix 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:featur🐟e the most cin𒉰ematic fights in the game. But all jokes aside, being able to control Joshua's Eikon makes the fights memorable and heartwarming.
1 Torgal
Torgal is the best boy, in more ways than one. He's not just here because he's everybody's emotional support dog but because he improves your quality of life. You might be having a hard time with boss fights, but fighting alongside your trustworthy hound gives you additional damage. But he's also a great teammate to have against enemies that come in hoards.
He stands out among the other party members you'll ever have in the game because he's the only one you can control at all times, which is helpful if you want to target a specific enemy. Needless to say, Clive and a lot of characters wouldn't have made it to the end without Torgal.
