You can see♔ the new opera scene in action in an unlisted promotional trai𓄧ler that will presumably go live shortly.

This remade opera scene could be indicative of what to expect in Final Fantasy 6 Pixel Remaster, which promises to be the most extensive remake of the original six Final Fantasy games. Square Enix might have even snuck in more HD-2D graphics t🌃han just the opera scene if Square Enix president Yosuke Matsuda&r🔯squo;s recent comments are any indication.

In a new YouTube series, Matsuda noted that Square Enix has plans to remake more cla🌳ssic games in the same HD-2D art style as Octopath Traveler and Live A Live, with 2D sprites on a 3D backg⛎round. Matsuda didn’t say which games would get the HD-2D remake treatment♌, but it does sound like Square Enix is getting pretty good at remastering old games in this particular style.

Final Fantasy 6 Pixel Remaster arrives on February 23 on PC and consoles, and t♍hen Live A Live gets its remaster later this summer. After that, who knows what else might receive the same HD-2D treatment?
