There are so many things to look forward to, but there’s nothing like running through the world with your favorite characters sharing some funny dialogue as you find your way forward. Broody hero Cloud returns, buಞt let’s get a look at everyone who’s showing up in the sequel.

8 Cloud Strife 🌊

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Cloud continues his perilous journey to stop Sephiroth and his, as of now, undefin꧟ed plans for the planet from coming to fruition. But, is that a🅷ll it is? You’ve seen a glimpse of the mysterious hooded men dotted through Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and they are only gathering in number. What if you’re just following the same path, but in a different way?

If you’ve played the original, this isn’t anything new, but with the changes and possible timeline shenanigans, there’s no telling what’s going to be i🐻n store for the golden boy as he meets his fate.

7 ꦡ Barret Wallace

Barret Wallace stands against a fire wearing his sunglasses at night

The man with a machine gun for an arm, and a heart of gold inside his chest, There are only two things Barret has on his mind to keep him 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:pressing on outside Midgar: saving the planet and getting back to his daughter Marlene safely. He doesn’t have time for all the subterfuge that Shinra and other undesirables are stacking in🌳 his way, either.

Barret doesn’t share too much about his past, but that doesn’t mean that it isn’t waiting outside those Midgar walls to try to knock his head off. Luckily for us🀅, Barret isn’t the type to run away from problems with his tail between his legs. No, he’s going to face his past head-on in Rebirth.

6 💝 Tifꦑa Lockhart

Returning with her fellow party members, Tifa this time around has a more centra🍌l role in this part of the story, as she was there in Nibelheim along with Cloud and Sephiroth. As she relives the memories of that day, she’s going to realize that things are much different than how she remembers them.

Up to this point, she’s done her best to protect Cloud from the truth, but has she been doing the right thing? The fate that ties her, Cloud, and Sephiroth all begins on that fateful mountaintop facility. Why would she hide the truth? Moreover,🦩 will Cloud forgive hꦆer for it?

5 Aerith Gaiꦍnsborough

Aerith Gainsborough looking at the sky and smiling

A woman who has one foot in reality and one i🤪n the future, Aerith knows of what possibly transpires, but when the arbiters of fate were defeated at💮 the hands of Cloud and company, multiple worlds of possibilities opened up, leaving the future resting in uncertain hands. Those possibilities raise further questions.

F🐼or example, what does that mean about Aerith’s fate? She came to her untimely end at the end of Sephiroth’s blade in the original game, but now, it stands to reason that she may not come to the same fate this go around. What could that mean for the other party members? Fate will play a nasty trick on her if she isn’t careful.

4 Red XIII

A close up of Red XIII showing his markings

It’s not hyperbole to say that we Final Fantasy 7 fans were robbed of having Red XIII as a playable member of the party in Remake. Yeah, you got him as a ‘featured character’, but come on! Good boy Red should have been in the party right at the start of the escape from the Shinra building. A reluctant partner of circumstance, Red doesn’t become a friꦜend until later, but at least he’s willing to fight with you.

Combat with him is a fast-paced affair, with quick claw strikes and excellent maneuverability, he will be able to slice through an🙈ything within seconds. Plus, having him in your party guarantees you meeting his grandfather and possibly getting the almighty Bahamut Zero in the process.

3 Yuffie Kisaragi ♊

If you’ve played the Retrograde Intermission DLC, you’ve already got a pretty good feel for Yuffie and her style of combat. She comes with martial arts sure, but her S🥂huriken is the star of the show. Not only is she able to subdue enemies from a distance, but she can use it outside of battle to hit targets at a distance.

It’ll be fun to see when she first meetཧs the group and steals all their stuff. Things aren’t a one-for-one copy of the original narrative beats, so i𝔉t’s truly and anything goes for your favorite ninja from Wutai village.

2 Cait Sith

Cait Sith using Aerith's magic to power up as Aerith watches

With the reveal of the Gold Saucer, you’re bound to run into t🌸he mechanical wonder that is Cait♚ Sith. He is a realistic cat robot with his trusty Moogle steed in tow, waiting to give the party their (un)lucky fortunes for a price. His combat is the most unknown, since this will be the first time he will be able to get into the action space.

Depending on how you feel about his Limit Break, you’re either looking forward to it, or you're dreading it. There is no in-between when it comes to his Slots. How it’s going to play out in real-time is still up in the air, but it’s going to be interesting nonetheless.

1 Sephiroth

Sephiroth holding his hand out to Cloud

Arguably more of the mascot to the game than Cloud i🌊s, Sephiroth is playable in a way that he’s never been before. In the original game, Sephiroth leads a small team up throug𓄧h the rough terrain of Mt. Nibel that features a couple of unknown soldiers, Tifa, and Cloud in a party with the legend himself. In the original, he was completely overpowering, to the point where it rendered a young Cloud useless in the fight altogether.

It’s a small taste of the power that you’re going to have to face later in the long run, but man isn’t it fun to wield the impossibly huge Masamune in your hands! Not to mention the combo moves you’ll be able to pull off 🌞— it’s going to be an amazing, if short, time fighting with him. If only it could last a little longer.
