168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth introduces new playable characters, but not everyone made the cut this time around. Vincent Valentine and Cid are now the only two companions from the original Final Fantasy 7 to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:not bജe playable in the remake trilogy so far, as they sit Rebirth out.

However, Rebirth's director Naoki Hamaguchi has now hinted that this won't always be the case. In an interview with , Hamaguchi suggests that the pair could be made playable in a sequel, or possibly even DLC for Rebirth, bringing back every companion from the original game.

Clearing the Go꧑ld Cup on my chocobo is some of the most fun I had in the ☂RPG.

These comments are made when Variety asks Hamaguchi directly if there are plans to include Vincent and Cid at a later date. While Hamaguchi doesn't give us an exact answer, he strongly suggests that this will be the case.

"While I don’t have any clear DLC in✱formation to share with you, we know it’d be very exciting for players to have new playable characters going into future titles," says Hamaguchi. "We didn’t want to release everything all at once and wanted to keep the excitement and anticipation going for these two characters."

So, certainly don't expect Hamaguchi to get any more specific than that anytime soon. At the very least, his comments don't rule out the pair being made playable in a DLC for Rebirth, just as Yuffie was introduced in the Remake expansion, Intergrade, so we might not have to wait until the next full game.

At the very least, this time around, we have the newcomers Cait Sith, Yuffie, and Red XIII to mix things up. And of course, the writers may have wanted to stop the game from being too crowded, since there's a lot of story to get through after Remake barely even scratched the surface. In the same interview, Hamaguchi says that they had decided for quite some time that Rebirth would end on the final moment of the first disc in the original release, so there's still plenty to explore in both DLC and the sequel.

With that said, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth only launched on February 29, so we're a long way away from any news about an expansion, and certainly far off a sequel announcement. We don't even know what the next game in the series will be called yet, but now with Rebirth out of the way, we'll have to wait and see when 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Square Enix is ready to give us more details.
