168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth's open world map is one of its strongest features, guiding players seamlessly towards key story events whilst maintaining that sense of exploration that was present in the original game. It's made in such a way that walking around on foot, on the back of a Chocobo, or driving across the desert is rewarding rather than tedious, but it seems like Square Enix is going to have to adopt a different approach to the game's open world if it wants to fulfill its promise and include the Highwind in Part 3.
According to director Naoki Hamaguchi in , one of the key challenges in the development of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy's third act is rebuilding the world while keeping the Highwind in mind, the massive airship that is introduced in Act 3 in the original game. While it's technically open world, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is still quite linear in structure, guiding players to new open world zones as the story progresses.

The more contained maps reward curiosity without needing hours of investment retracing the sa๊me old steps.
Introducing an airship and potentially allowing players to fly wherever they like wouldn't be feasible in Rebirth due to the game's structure, but Hamaguchi wants to keep that same sense of exploration that players experience when getting their hands on the Highwind in the original game. With that in mind, it makes sense that the game's world would need to be rebuilt to accommodate airship travel, and locations such as Junon and Midgar would need to be built to scale if Part 3 is to maintain the realism the previous titles have established.
I definitely want to address the same for what is likely expected from our experienc🃏e with the Highwind to explore the world 🧔- Naoki Hamaguchi
When you consider Midgar itself was a big enough setting for an entire game, and Rebirth ha🌱d to be put on two discs due to how big it is, you can see how challenging something like airship travel would be to implement. You also have the simple task of taking off and landing in the airship, as Cloud and the gang would simply pop out of the bottom in the original. Part 3 will obviously be more realistic with more densely packed environments, so even the simple act of landing the Highwind is going to be a complicated thing to accommodate.
In any case, it's going to be awhile before we see how the team plans to tackle the issue, but possibly not as long as we might think. Creative director Tetsuya Nomura stated in 2022 that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:work on the third act has alr꧋eady begun, and we know that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Cid and Vincent w🐈ill be playable this time around. Still, there's likely a bunch of work to be done still, especially if Square Enix is planning to give us airship travel.
