The light, sounds, crowds of people, and excitement that follow are the definition of whiplash. And we would not want it any other way!

3D Brawler

As you arrive in The Gold Saucer, following the waypoint will bring you to a crowd of people near the central square. Approach them to trigger a cutscene featuring the man himself, Dio, who challenges Cloud to a round of 3D Brawler. This will launch you directly into a Practice Round, teaching you all the basics you need to ♈know to beat him.

After facing off against Dio, you will rejoin your friends on the ground. They are beyond excited about exploring The Gold Saucer and seeing everything it offe🌄rs, but the exhaustion is wearing on Cloud, which is quickly picked up by the rest ꦏof his party.

Haunted Hotel

Barret then offers Cloud to go with him to secure rooms for the night, which Cloud obliges, having everyone else take off to the amusements that await in The Gold Saucer. From here, follow the waypoint to the Ghost Square and take the tunnel to where the Haunted House awaits you.

Approach the check-in counter to be greeted by the... bizarre receptionist, then watch the cutscene unfold. After this, head up to your rooms via the elevator on the second floor. Once you're in your room, Barret will head out for a walk, leaving Cloud alone. Take this opportunity to get a much-needed sleep.

Zack Interlude

After Cloud drifts into a deep sleep, you will be greeted by a surprise interlude with Zack. Like his previous interludes, this one is very linear and straightforward. Following the waypoints and watching the cutscenes will complete this small detore!

Date Night

Finishing Zack's brief interlude will awaken Cloud from his slumber with a sudden knock on his door. Approach the door and open it to be greeted by the character with whom you currently have the highest affinity. Here, you will go on a small date with whoever is on the ♉opposite side of this door. However, keep in mind that the 'real' Gold Saucer date isn't until chapter 12!

Guide Moogle & Activities

From here, you can use the Guide Moogle to move between a handful of squares in The Gold Saucer, all of which offer different mini-games for you to participate in. Completing one activity per square will allow you to proceed in the story. Below is a list of each s൩quare and the activities you can join within them!

• Wonderment Square: G-Bike, 3D Brawler, Queen's Blood Challenges
• Speed Square: Galactic Survivors
• Battle Square: Musclehead Colosseum
• Chocobo Square: Cannot Participate (Visit and talk to the receptionist)
• Event Square: Cannot Participate (Visit to watch a cutscene)

Skywheel Square

After participating in a handful of mini-games from the list above, you will be notified that the Skywheel Square is now open. So, make your way there to progress the story. As you and your date prepare to board the Skywheel, a sudden issue will lock it down, forcing you to head to the Battle Square.

Use the Guide Moogle to travel to the Battle Square, triggering a cutscene where you learn of a shooting that occurred, having Dio make another appearance before putting a tracking bracelet on Cloud, and having him travel to the Corel Prison, where the chapter continues!

Corel Prison

Once in Corel Prison, a cutscene will play out, introducing you to Gus and his henchmen. He will explain his plan of using you to win the upcoming Chocobo Race at The Gold Saucer, 🍒having that be🌠 the stipulation that sets you and your friends free while also providing the information you need about the shooter.

Earning Sylkis Greens

Not only do you have to win the Chocobo Race, but you also have to gather Sylkis Greens for your Chocobo to nurse it back to full health to get it race-ready. To do this, you must complete various tasks around Corel Prison. You can find the complete list of events 🌳that offer Sylkis Greens below!

• Desert Rush: Obtain at least 15,000 Score in Desert Rush (Whack-a-Box).
• Defeat The Thugs: Follow the 'Suspicious Man' into a back alley and defeat him.
• Conniving Caglio: Correctly point out who is telling the truth.
• Card Collector: Win three Queen's Blood matches and report to the Card Collector.
• Bartender's Garden: Defeat the group of Cactuars that stole the Sylkis Greens.

Only three of the five events are needed to get Piko back to tip-top shape. Any additional Sylkis Greens can be used to acquire different accessories for your Chocobo, which will grant different stats for P♒iko during the race.

Chocobo Race

Now that Piko is back up to speed, it's time to enter the race at The Gold Saucer. Once here, you will be ushered into a waiting room where you can practice the race. We strongly urge you to do this to familiarize yourself with th🐟e s🐻ystems and mechanics.

You must win the Chocobo Cup in order to progress the main story, so ensure you have everything down before throwing yourself into the race. It's not overly complex, but Joe will put up a fight. You should be able to barrel past him strategically if you use your Speed Bursts and Dashes!

Follow The Vulture

Upon winning the Chocobo Cup, Gus will celebrate your victory and claim the prize money for himself. Sleazy as he is, he is a man of his word and will release your party members while also pointing you to where your target is being held.

From here, you must follow his vulture through the desert until you reach a wall of dust devils. Once you reach this point,💫 a cutscene will begin to play out!

Barret Returns

During the same cutscene, you encounter the dust devils; Barret returns to the party, saving them in their time of need. The cutscene continues, with Barret confirming with the team that Dyne is their target and telling them he need🐷s to go in himself.

You will take control of Barret, take this time to ensure your equipment is sound, and then push further into the junkyard alone to trigger another cutscene.

Dyne Boss Fight

After the cutscene plays out, you will be in a boss encounter against Dyne, which can be extremely challenging. Dyne is weak to Fire and can be inflicted with Poison, so focus on peppering🐓 him with these elements during the fight to drain his hea👍lth quickly!

Anuran Suppressor Boss Fight

Immediately upon defeating Dyne, Shinra will drop the Anuran Suppressor onto the field, forcing Cloud and the others to battle it. Palmer controls this mech-like thing and can be a nuisance to deal with. Overall, its weakness is Lightning, and unleashing Limit Breaks and Synergy Strikes can substantially Pressure and Stagger it!

Zack Interlude

Lastly, after the epic battles against Dyne and the Anuran Suppressor are taken care of, you will transition into another short interlude with Zack. Like the others before it, it is pretty straightforward and linear. Follow the waypoints and watch the cutscenes to complete the eighth chapter of Fi♏nal Fantasy 7 Rebirth!
