has made the growing bonds between its core cast of characters into something not only to be admired in its narrative, but to be fostered within its gameplay as well. Synergy skills are perhaps the most consistently present e♏xample of this, but Party Level stands at the forefront of it all.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth's༒ got four difficulty settings, and you're in for a remarkably different experience with each one.

There's never been anything quite like Party Level in Final Fantasy before Rebirth. Like many things Square Enix brings to the table with this second chapter in its sweeping FF7🍃 trilogy reimagining, it's easy enough in theory, but complex in execution. Let's take a look under the hood.

FF7 Rebirth Party Level, Explained

Your Party Level is a singular universal stat which encompasses all Party EXP accrued🍎 up to a given point in the game. As its name suggests, you're never going to be dealing with multiple instances o🌌f Party Level.

The direct application of Party Level is found on Folio boards. When you're thumbing through skill cores, determining which one to unlock when next a party member has ample SP, you will always be limited to the current Party Level's nodes.

You also need to unlock skill cores in a linear fashion, since they're linked together. But even if you have managed to fill up every skill core up to, say, Party Level 3, the Party Level 4 skill nodes will be inaccessible until you reach Party Level 4!

How To Raise Your Party Level

So, we know what Party Level affects, but how do we gain it? Indeed, Party EXP is fairly easy to get, but Party Level rises quite slowly. He💞re's where you'll find these small batches of Party EXP, which will eventually combine to get you a level-up:

Side Quests

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is bursting at the seams with optional content, but side quests are designated specifically as such, via pos꧟tings ಌon town community boards and green map markers.

Because these often involve Cloud and another character, Party EXP is gained. It's a good idea to engage with every side quest regardless, since there are many rewards, from tangible to purely story-related☂. But Party EXP is a big part of the equation!

Main Quests

Skippable stuff isn't your only source of Party EXP. Main story quests also confer Party EXP upon completion. Thus, even if you're only interested in completing the critical path in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, you will still gain a few Party Levels for your F🅠olios.

World Intel

This has to be the most regular source of Party EXP. World Intel of several varieties provides Party EXP upon completion, although in some cases you may need to redo a task in order to gain the maximum amount.

For instance, if you defeat the enemy in Fiend Intel, but fail to complete every objective, you'll be rewarded 5 Party EXP rather than 10 Party EXP. This can be fixed at any time - you'll get the other 5 Party EXP when you succeed.

There m𒐪ay be other sources for grinding your Party Levels, so stay tuned, and we'll update this posthaste!
