features a number of iconic summon monster🐬s from across the series' history, most of which appe﷽ared in the classic FF7 as well. Each of the game's wide-open regions is home to myths about a particular mythical creature, and finding their shrines unlocks easier versions of their fights.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: Livestock's Bane Side Quest Walkthrough
One of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth's earliest side qu🍬ests involves the hunt for a tough terror.
But what if you don't want things so easy? Or what if the eꦇasier versions are still causing trouble - which isn't remotely outside the realm of𓆉 possibility when they pack such a punch? Your first contender is the massive and muscular Titan, and we'll tell you how to win on every setting.
How To Unlock Every Tier For Titan's Battle
Before you can begin the process of unlocking Titan's three decreasingly difficult fight settings, you will need to have reunited with Remake robot boy Chadley at Bill's Chocobo Ranch.
The story sends you here rather quickly; just follow the map objective to the swamp, which will prompt you to double back to the ra🌌nch.
If you vis꧟it Bill's Chocobo Ranch ahead of schedule, Chadley won't be there yet.
Merely conversing with Chadley - which is required, so no worries there! - unlocks Titan's hardest mode. The trouble is, Titan's hardest mode will be next to impossible when you first gain access to it. 🐎The fight i🍌s very much intended for higher-leveled parties.
Without finding Titan's shrines in the Grasslands, then, you'll be waiting a lot longer to add its Materia to your arsenal. Instead, activate Remnawave Towers, which will help fill the map with Divine Intel markers denoting shrines.
It's a bit more complex - you'll learn to slash special boxes that will leave trails of light toward the shrines. The important thing to understand here is that every time you find one of the three shrines, you unlock a progressively weaker Titan fight.
How To Beat Titan On Lower And Lowest Difficulties
Whether you're fighting him on the easiest difficulty or the hardest, Titan is essentially the same battle. But whereas he hits like a truck at Full Might, his blows are less significant on Lower Power and Lowest Power.
But if you're fighting Titan as soon as you've reached the second and third shrines, thus unlock the Lower and Lowest Power modes, you're still in for a rather tough encounter.
For starters, we recommend a party of Cloud, Aerith and Red XIII. Conversely, Barret's range is handy.
Cloud's your ever-reliable all-rounder, and he works as intended versus Titan. Aerith's here to cast Aero and Cure, though she'll have some more utility we'll get into later. Red XIII is terrific at blocking and building up Vengeance Mode.
Keep Aerith On Support Duty
Keep Aerith at a comfortable distance, which you can (mostly) guarantee by only switching to her when you need to. Enemies in FF7 Rebirth tend to prioritize your actively controlled character, albeit to a somewhat lesser extent than🅘 in Remake.
Remember that you can always issue commands to other characters by pulling up the Command Bar; though s꧂ometimes, you'll want that manual control🐠.
Aerith's job here is to pressure with Aero, heal with Cure, and supply the party her familiar via Tempest for extra stack damage. Sorcerous Storm is a solid choice as well, especially if you find yourself needing to conserve MP - which, frankly, you will.
Along similar lines, Pray costs both ATB bar charges, but it's often worth it to wait things out until you get there. Even when the Materia hasn't hit higher levels yet, the MP-saving multitarget heals are excellent.
Aerith comes♔ equipped with the Prayer Materia by default - keep it on her!
Remember To Block!
You're going to run into some real trouble with Titan if you don't make good strategic use of Cloud's automatic blocking via Punisher Mode.
This isn't going to save you from Titan's special attacks, like Earthen Roar and especially the huge area-of-effect attack Earthquake.
But Titan tends to combo his melee attacks, and Cloud can not only resist them, but outright repel them, if you spend time keeping him glued to defense.
Red XIII's blocking is especially decent, and you'll be charging his Vengeance Mode, which you can then unleash for rapid damage output.
You'll also want to use the Vengeance-Mode-only Siphon Fang to get some of that HP back that Titan will be relentlessly s🍸hredding.
Boulders, Grabbers, And Earthen Aegis
Titan will sometimes snag one of your party members, temporarily rendering them incapacitated. But you don't have to get hit by it. If you can time your evasion well enough, you'll get away scot-free.
Even if you don't, the grabbed character isn't hit too hard; it's more of an inconvenience. You'll also need to keep a close watch when Titan begins to erect several boulders in a surrounding pattern, as not only do they deal damage; you can also get someone 'trapped' in it for a bit.
A couple of times, Titan will use Earthen Aegis, which renders it largely invulnerable until this new barrier is destroyed. Earthen Aegis becomes targetable, serving as a discrete enemy part.
Focus your strikes on it until it's done and dusted, of course. But don't be afraid to smack Titan a few times with specific moves. We've managed to pressure Titan a bit with Aero and Wind-elemental character abilities even now.
It will take a while if you go head-to-head with these lower-tier Titan variants early on, but keep whittling away at Titan's high HP and you will get there in due time.
