In the grand narrative history of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy, the very idea that a power company was the villain in Final Fantasy VII was sort of silly. How could an electric company amass that much power to then use it to basically dominate the planet and ꦚcreate its own nation within a booming metropolis? Well, these ten entries will spill the beans.

Their atrocities all led to 🔯their destruction. It’s a tale as old as time. Karma will always bite one in the butt. In case it needs to be said, there will be spoilers for both the original game and the remake. No stone will go unturned, so let’s get to ranking.

10 Belittling Mayor Domino

This is a very🅰 small slight on Shinra’s part, but it is odd how a power company usurped total control of what is presumably a city nation. The mayor of Midgar then, Domino, was put into their archive department as a figurehead, but even that is barely true.

Well too bad for Shinra, because their downfall can be traced back to this injustice, as he did end up helping 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:AVALANCHE. As they say in the game, Mayor 🃏Domino is thꦫe best.

9 Rocket Town’s Empty Promises

Poor Palmer. Poor Cid. Both men are in total fav🀅or of going to space, but for whatever reason Shinra isn’t paying too much attention to Ro🐷cket Town.

True, Palmer is part of Shinra and a bad guy, but he is more goofy than evil in both the original and remake. Thꦏat’s why it’s easy to feel sorry for him. Not as bad as Cid’s sadness, but stil💞l something to take note of.

8 Fort Condor

Final Fantasy VII is full of mini games and one of the oddest, which is saying something, was the RTS-like battles at Fort Condor. From time to time Shinr🥀a would send armies of soldiers and monsters to retake Fort Condor in order to harvest the Materia and Mako energy inside.

Since a giant bird took 📖over, it was repurposed as sort of a sanctuary, but Shinra was having no part in that. Leave the birds alone!

7 Corel Rebellion

Another reactor both built and abandoned by Shinra was in Corel, Barret’s hometown. In the story of Before Crisis, a Japanese only♛ mobile game starring the Turks, Barret helped the Turks retake the reactor from the first incarnation of AVALANCHE.

For his services he was betrayed by Shinra, which led to him loosing an arm, his best fr♋iend “dying,🌳” and the explosion of the reactor, which led to Corel’s economic downfall.

6 Sector 7

Ther♏e are actually two instances of Shinra blowing up their own city. It wasn’t as clear in the original, and it ultimately wasn’t given more context in the remake, but Shinra helped AVALANCHE blow up the Sector 8 reactor.

More devastating ♏than that was them dropping the Sector 7 plate, which caused way more damage. That was the final straw for Cloud and the gang, because it was time to take down Shinra after that.

5 Experimenting On Humans

This cata🍃log is huge, as the entire SOLDIER program was all about creating enhanced humans.

There are specific cases where thing🎶s got intense though, including kidnapping Red XIII, the last of his species and putting Zack and Cloud in a lab to rot away in Nibelheim. And let’s not f🃏orget the ultimate downfall of Shinra and the planet . Basically, hiring Hojo was a mistake.

4 Wutai War

War is never a good thing in both reality and in video games. It le𒐪ads to casualties on both sides, and for what?

While the numbers are never exactly spoken, the war between Shinra and Wutai was intense, which basically led to Wutai losing and in turn becoming a smaller, poorer nation. Hopefully this subplot will get more tiℱme in the remakes.

3 Hiding Jenova

Yes, let’s take an alien from space, hide it in a jar, and experiment on it. Nothing can go wrong with that, right? This can be tied in to both experimentation and Sephiro𝔉th because it ღwas this revelation that led the silver haired hero into a state of pure chaos.

Shinra seemingly didn’t learn their lesson after the first incident, so Jen൲ova was moved to H🙈Q. Well, fans all know how that idea turned out.

2 Manipulating The Cetra

Another experimentation case that needs its own entry is in regard to the Cetra. Their trial🔯s eꦜventually led to Aerith’s mother’s death. In that same vein they also led Aerith down a similar path with her dying via Sephiroth.

P🎉lus she was berated as a child to come live with Shinra, and in the game itself she was also 𒈔almost mated with Red XIII. That was in the original. All Hojo seemingly wanted in the remake was a normal baby, which is less creepy in the grand scheme of it all.

1 Draining The Planet

The ultimate sin of Sh🥂inra was draining the planet. Everything thꦐey did as a company can be traced back to this.

It gave them power, which corrupted th🦄em. They were too greedy and got what was rightfully coming to them in the end.
