10 Vaan
Vaan was a late addition to Final Fantasy 12 in the game’s development. Originally, Ashe was going to be the lead, but Vaan was added 🔜as a way for the player to seemingly be embodied in this grand adventure. Because of this, he can sometimes feel like a fly on the wall in the story.
He‘s notౠ the coolest thief in the series, let alone the best protagonist, but he is a decent enough thief as an Aladdin-like street rat.
9 Kiros
Kiros is from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy 8 and is part of Laguna’s team. He uses twin blades that are reminiscent of knuckle dusters ꦺas they are attached on the ends. He’s not what you would think of as a typical ninja in a video game, but his move set is close enough to make this choice count.

8 Tristam
Tristam is from the very obscure SNES spinoff, Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest. It’s a game that didn’t feel very much like Final Fantas🐠y at all but was still a fun RPG.
Tristram was a wandering ninja who occasionally joined the party. As an early SNES game, there wasn&⛦rsquo;t much to his character but he was still fꦆun to play as.
7 Edge
Edge is from Final Fantasy 4, which was also a SNES game. This was when 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Squaresoft, at the time, really figured out how to write a compelling story in a Final Fantasy game. It was full of twi🍃sts and turns, including a large cast of characters that either left and came back periodically or died in some fas𒀰hion.

Terra is the main ch🌠aracter in Final Fantasy 6 but Locke could be arg⛦ued as the co-star. Terra is a more quiet person for a protagonist and often disappears in the story as well. Locke then is oftentimes the leader instead.
He’s quite the cunning character and knows his way around a lock too - hence his on-the-nose name. It would beౠ interesting to see how Square Enix would handle him in a remake.
5 Shadow
Shadow is also from Final Fantasy 6 and has one of the best themes in the game. Even though he is a niꦰnja, this whistling t✅wang is more fit for a cowboy, but it’s still great.
What makes him a good character is his mysterious a💙nd random nature as🐭 he joins and leaves the party on a whim. If players are able to rescue him before the world ends, he will finally become a more permanent party member - so don’t let him down.
4 Rikku
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Rikku is from Final Fantasy 10. She is a typical thief character as the one party member early on that can steal. This is handy, but what makes her better is her mixology techniques. She can combine items to create new ones, such as simple potions to make ones that heal the whole♏ party.

3 Balthier
Balthier is from Final Fantasy 12 and is the more suave rogue next to Vaan. He can be easily referred to as the game’s version of Han Solo 𒅌- in which case his best mate Fran is his Chewbacca. He is a sky pirate which automatically makes him conventionally cooler than many other characters on this list.
He’s not꧙ much of a thief in terms of gameplay and is instead more like a ranged character. That&𝔉rsquo;s one reason why he’s not at the very top of the list.
2 Yuffie
Yuffie is from Final Fantasy 7 and is the best ninja in the series. Her character isn’t fully fleshed out in the original game. However, this was 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:made up for in the DLC for the remake. She has a lot in common wi💞th Rikku in that they are both competent fighters wi🍰th bubbly personalities.
