The first version of Cid appeared in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy II, which was also the game where Chocobos first appeared. Since then, he has been a mainstay in the core games and spin-offs. In fact, Cid often plays a big role in the Chocobo spin-offs, for example, as an assistant to the cute yellow bird-like in Chocobo’s Dungeon.

Cid is a beloved name by fans who eagerly look forward to seeing what the next game makes him out to be. That said, there have been a lot of lows in his designs. Not every Cid can be a winner after all. Which are the best d⛄esigned and most powerful versions? And which should h💎ave stayed in the oven just a bit longer? These entries were kind of formed in pairs, which will make sense as one reads on.

10 ♕ Best: Cid (Final Fantasy Unlimited) 🐎

He has no last name to go by and is thus only refe🍸rred to as Cid. This is one of the youngest incarnations of the character to date. He is a budding scientist who helps the grꦦoup out as best he can.

Is this anime as good as any of the games at storytelling? No. It is tangentially related to the franchise at best, but Cid remains one of the better parts of it. That and Chobi the C🐻hocobo.

9 🦩 ⛄ Worst: Dr. Sid (Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within)

One of the worst representations is in another video related medium, Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. Square had high hopes for this project, b♉ut if one found the anime to be barely related to the franchise, then this movie is even more bizarre.

The Spirits Within was a huge flop. Anyway, Dr. Sid was played by Donald Sutherland. While his acting was ok, it’s the fault of the writing for not giving him enough to play with. Dr. Sid and the rest of the cast come across as memorable as a snowflake in Antarctica. It’s unnecessarily dark too.

8 Best: Cind💝y/Cidney Aurum (Final Fantasy XV)

Technically there are two Cids in Final Fantasy XV: The old man and Cindy. In Japan, it is mo✃re flagrant of a tie-in as her name is Cidney, making her the first female version. Does she have a lot of character?

Well, she certainly is a character, especially withಞ her heavy accent. S🐠he’s more of a way to spout vital information at players along with offering some eye candy for Prompto. Despite her looks, Cindy is a talented mechanic who exudes confidence through her attitude and wardrobe.

7 Worst: Cid Del Norte Marquez𝄹 (Final Fantasy VI)

A version that looks even more ridiculous than Cidney is the overly complicated name of Cid Del Norte Marquez from Final Fantasy VI. In the game, he appears to be wearing🍌 a big yellow raincoat for no logical reason. None of his subordinates are wearing them and he isn’t experimenting in the rain.

Upon closer examination of the concept art, Cid looks even more ridiculous than Final Fantasy XV's version. Despite barely wearing anything at all, Cidney is at least able to pull off yelꩵlow. Looks aside, this Cid is barely a🔜 character.

6 🌱 ꦺ Best: Cid Fabool IX (Final Fantasy IX)

Cid Fabool IX is one of the coolest and most robust versions of the character while not being playable. Having a side character like Cid matter so much to the story serves as a prime example of the strong writing in Final Fantasy IX.

At the end of the day, it’s a story about many people trying to find love. Cursed by his beloved Hilda, Cid goes from a human to an oglop, then a frog, and eventually back to a human again. It is one oꦚf the funniest and sweetest narratives in the game.

5 Wors♏t: Cidolfus Demen Bunansa (F♔inal Fantasy XII)

Final Fantasy XII also has two Cids: The evil Cidolfus and Prince Al-Ci🍌d. The latter is, without a doubt, one of the prettiest male versions of the character. Cidolfus, on the other hand, is a kook.

The designers seemingly wanted him to come across as a sinister ve𓂃rsion of Cid mixed with a touch of Kefka; however, what came out was a try-hard wannabe. This Cid is a joke.

4 Best: Cidolfu🐼s Orlandeau (Final Fantasy Tactics) ♕

Cidolfus, who is ofte📖n referred to as Orlandeau, is one of the strongest characters in his respective game. His magic sword abilities can devastate any battlefield. It’s a good thing he switched allegiances because fighting him and other sword mages would quickly turn into a pain.

Besides his strength, Cidolfus' design is also pretty cool, almost like a Final Fantasy version of Obi-Wan Kenobi. Look at that brown rob🦂e and beard and try to say otherwise.

3 ꧟ Worst: Cid Randell (Final Fantasy Tactics Advance) 🍃

Another Cid that appeared in the Final Fantasy Tactics universe was Cid Randell, the father of Mewt in the ♋game. In reality, it appears like he is ꦫa drunk disorderly father; however, in the game's universe, he is kind of a coward and a bumbling fool.

This is especially true compared to his fellow, moꦦre menacing Judge compatriots. Randell realඣly doesn’t do much in the game, although he does admittedly get a nice redemption arc toward the end.

2 🦋 Best: Cid Highwind (Final Fantasy VII) ꦅ

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy VII is regarded as one of the best games in the franchise so its version of Cid was almost guaranteeℱd to be one the best renditions as well. He can be a bit abrasive and downright abusive to his assistant, but he also has a lot of demons.

Does he soften up? A little, but he is still mostly the same stubborn guy by the end of the campaign. Personality aside, this is the only version of Cid who is a main cast member for most of a mainline game’s story. He even takes over as the protagonist for awhile. From his skills as a pilot to his Dragooning prowess, Highwind is a pretty great Cid. Quick shout out to his Kingdom Hearts version too.

1 𓃲 Worst: Cid Kramer (Final Fantasy VIII)

With a last name like Kramer, one would hope this version of Cid shared some personality traits with Seinfeld’s Kramer, but he doesn’t. Cid Kramer is about as opposite a guy to K💧rameဣr as one can get.

From his hair cut to his sweater vest, everything about him screams lame dad. Going from one of the greateඣst Cids in 's Highwind to one of the worst in its sequel's version must have been shocking to fans, to say the least.
