Final Fantasy VII Remake is almost here. It so𝄹unds unreal as it has been a long time coming. Plus it got delayed out of March. That said fans are still jazzed about it. While gamers wait let’s take a look at the game’s hero, Cloud Strife, to see the many games he’s starred in since his 1997 debut.

From 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy spinoff𝐆s to guest roles in other franchises, he has been all over the place. These ten examples are the most noteworthy, barring mobile examples. In the phone space there are too many to name so those will be left off the list.

10 Theatrhythm Final Fantasy

For those unaware, this is a rhythm based RPG for the 3DS. Calling Cloud a playable character in Theatrhythm Final Fantasy is a bit of a misnomer. That goes for everyone in the game as well as characters don’t differ much between the musical gameplay segments. There are some RPG aspects, but not much to differentiate anybody. That said seeing Cloud in this adorable chibi form is ꦛtoo precious for words.

9 Final Fantasy Explorers

Also for the 3DS is Final Fantasy Explorers, which is like Monster Hunter. Create a character, go 🦩into the world for quick, repetitive missions to grind out in order to build better armor. It’s a basic clone, but fun with friends🐼.

Cloud, and other Final Fantasy heroes, can be summoned in as sort 𝓡of skin packs, or costumes. It’s technically Cl🐽oud in appearance, but not the real Cloud if that makes sense. Slaying monsters with that Buster Sword is undeniably cool though, clone or not.

8 Itadaki Street: Dragon Quest And Final Fantasy 30t🦩h Anniversary

Itadaki Street, which started on the Famicom in Japan, is like an RPG version of Monopoly. Many spinoffs and clones erupted from here including three sequels featuring Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest characters. Itadaki Street: Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary is the latest version, which released for the PS4 and PS Vita in Japan. Players choose a character, like Cloud, and go around a board buying up property in the hopes of earning enough money to win. Again, it’s like Monopoly. Only one game in this series released in the West, Fortune Street, which was for the Wii.

7 Chocobo Racing

The Chocobo racing mini game was so big in a Final Fantasy VII that Square decided to spin it off, in a way, for its own title. Instead of the big birds running around on foot, they, and other Final Fantasy characters and critters, rode around on vehicles like Mario Kart.

Cloud, for example, was a secret character who rode on his iconic bike, Fenrir, from Final Fantasy VII. In order to unlock him one had to beat the story mode five times followed by ▨a button prompt transfo﷽rming Squall into Cloud.

6 Ehrgeiz: God Bless the Ring

Ehrgeiz: God Bless the Ring is not a Square game but rather a Namco wrestli🌊ng arcade title. Square did help bring it over to the PS1 and in turn collaborated on bringing their characters into it. Cloud and Tifa actually were in the arcade ꦕversion but Zack, Sephiroth, Yuffie, and Vincent were added when it came to consoles. For a grappling game, having so many weapon based fighters was weird. Tifa was the only one that made sense.

5 Dissidia Final Fantasy

Many years after Square got a taste for fighters, they made their own via Dissidia Final Fantasy on the PSP. The first game crossed over the heroes and villains from the first twe🐈lve games. Matches were fought one on one and there was an aspect of building up characters to make them stronger, as one would hope of the RPG franchise.

There was even a story mode. From there a prequel, half sequel was made for the PSP followed by Dissidia Final Fantasy NT on PS4, which 🦩turned the game into a three on three fighter.

4 Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

The best fighting game featuring Cloud has to be Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Technically he first appeared as DLC for the Wii U version, but this Switch edition is better in that he is packaged in. On top of him being so fun to play versus Mario, Samus, Pikachu, and so many other iconic Nintendo characters, Nintendo made cool Amiibo for him as well. As a matter of fact two versions were created. As cool as Dissidia Final Fantasy was as a crossover experience, the🦄re is no topping the sheer magnitude of this gamཧe.

3 World Of Final Fantasy

On the subject of Nintendo, World of Final Fantasy is like Kingdom Hearts crossed over with . The heroes look straight out of the former title, with them recruiting iconic monsters like Flan and Behemoths in a turn-based RPG. Strangest part of all is that these monsters stack on top of their heads. Oh, right, and this world is filled with many Final Fantasy heroes including Cloud, Lightning, Terra, and the list goes on. Besides being integral to the story, these heroes can also be used in battle like Summons. As if it were even possible, this version of chibi Cloud is cuter than Theatrhythm Final Fantasy’s.

2 Final Fantasy Tactics

Final Fantasy Tactics was the immediate ripple that came after Final Fantasy VII in terms of a core RPG. Tucked away as a secret character toward the end of the game, Cloud was not an easy get. In fact he started o𒊎ut at level one so even if one did get him, training him up to the player’s current level was an unbelievable grind. That said to those that had the dedication, Cloud’s Limit Break moves were worth the effort.

1 Kingdom Hearts

The absolute coolest version of Cloud outside of Final Fantasy VII is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Kingdom Hearts. The form he took in the first game combined his original design with Vincent’s, making him look more amazing than before. He was never playable in any of the games, but he was a boss in the first along with a Summon in Chain of Memories. That said being around him was good enough for diehard fans. Remember, this was the first time Cloud got to speak, before the film, Advent Children, came out so it was a big deal. Too bad he wasn’t in Kingdom Hearts III.
