Not long after the announcement of the remake for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy VII, fans have been wondering if more remakes/remasters, were possible, particularly for Compilation of Final Fantasy VII games. Specifically, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, as it is regarded by most as the only game in the campaign that was good. Here are five reasons why Crisis Core needs a remake/remaster and five why it doesn't.

10 Needs: A Great Opportunity To Re-Ex💜plore FFVII's World Before The Main Series

Definitely one of the most obvious reasons why Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII needs either a remake or a remaster as it applied to the same reasons why it was a good idea in the first place back in the 2000s. This is a fantastic way to re-explore the overall world of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy VII before the events of the main game(s).

For fans, it would be a great way to experience/re-experience a high-quality spin-off and prequel to the most popular worlds in the Final Fantasy franchise and in the gaming community. The degree of how good the new coat of paint would be on this ಌgame would depend on whether it's a remake or a remaster, but either way, it would be great to play this game and its story on modern consoles.

9 Doesn't Need: The Established Story May Not Be Cohesiv🦄e With FFVII Remake's Story

This is actually something that has been brought to light back in 2017 in an interview with director Tetsuya Nomura himself. He believes/believed that the Final Fantasy VII spin-off games wouldn't have much cohesion with the story in the  series. As hard☂ as it is to hear that, depending on where the future installments go in terms of story, this could have♑ some merit.

Hopefully, the most important plot points of the original Final Fantasy VII don't get ruined in the future, but perhaps some plot points explored in the future would conflict with that of Crisis Core.

8 Needs♑: Great For New Players To The FFVII World

Among the groups that would benefit most from a remake or a remaster of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII are those who are new to this world. By extension, those that are new to VII's world are likely new to Final Fantasy in general.

Therefore, these players also had Crisis Core on the PSP go over their heads when that was new. If they play Final Fantasy VII Remake and greatly enjoy it, this would 𒆙be a great way for them to familiarize themselves with the world from tꦡhe perspective of another fan-favorite character in Zack Fair.

7 ♒ Doesn't Need: Depending On Scale, It Could Slow Progress On Future FFVI♏I Remake Games

A conditional reason that depends on how big of a project Square Enix would intend on making a remaster or remake of Crisis Core, this could po🌄tentially pose a problem for the grander series. This would be especially so if they chose to go with a f🔥ull-blown remake of the original PSP game.

If the scale is big enough for the project in order to deliver a high-quality product, it might take all or some of the development team behind Final Fantasy VII Remake away from that series, thus slowing the releases of the future Remake games. Square wou𝓰ldꦚ need to ensure giving this to a totally different developer.

6 ꦺ Needs: A Remake Could Make Crisis Core's Story Work In This Continuity 😼

Going off the earlier point on Crisis Core not working with the story of the Final Fantasy VII Remake series, going for the remake route could solve this. Remake itself is a remake of tꦓhe original in the literal sense that it is remaking that world and (parts of) that story, but it also expands upon and introduces new plot elements to change things up.

If Square Enix took the same approach to Crisis Core, they could likely find a way to expand upon the original story to make it cohesive with the Remake series.

5 ಞ Doesn't Need: Potentially Swerving⛦ Harder Into Controversial Plot Points

Overall, Final Fantasy VII Remake has enjoyed a great critical reception, but that doesn't mean the game is without flaws. Overall, the game is great thanks to its excellent combat system, story, expansion of the story to flesh it out to add more character development and interactions, etc. However, there have been certain plot elements that have concerned even those🐬 who enjoy the game.

Without delving into spoilers, the incorporation of the "Whispers" and divisive ending are worrying fans that this series could eventually go off the rails in Kingdom Hearts-like fashion in terms of story, largely due to Nomura. If Crisis Core gets a remake, it would likely introduce the origins of these concepts that could ruin the original story.

4 Needs: An Excelle♕nt Appetizer Before The Next FFVII Remake Game

Assuming Square Enix avoids the problem posed in an earlier entry here and give a remaster or remake project for Crisis Core to another team altogether while still ensuring a high-quality product and not delay future Final Fantasy VII Remake games, this would be an excellent gift to fans.

While the team behind Remake is expected to have a more efficient development process with future entries, we don't know how much faster the next game will arrive. Having a Crisis Core remake/remaster release in between Remake entries would be a great appetizer for fans.

3 Doesn't Need: It Could Hurt The St🅷ory Of The FFVII Remake Seไries

Whether the stories of the future Final Fantasy VII Remake games will be ruined on their own remains to be seen, but if not, mishandling of the story of a remake of Crisis Core in particular also could. Fans and critic-fans alike warmly received the PSP original as a great expansion of the FFVII world from the perspective of a beloved char♑acter with Zack Fair.

Since a remake would likely touch on the "Whispers," it could introduce things to retroactively hurt the story of Remake and/or future entries in this series similar to how fans negatively reacted to Disney/Lucasfilm adding in lore to The Rise of Skywalker that retroactively made it worse.

2 Needs: If Not A Conventional Remake/Remaster, It Could ℱWork As DLC

If, for whatever reason, work on a remaster or top-to-bottom remake of Crisis Core would not be worth it in Square Enix's eyes, DLC would be almost as good. They could adapt/loosely adapt the story of the actual PSP game, make story/gameplay alterations where necessary (as long as they're still good), and release it as DLC to one of the future Remake games.

CD Projekt Red reminded us that story DLC can at least be just as good as the base game itself with the post-launch support of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Crisis Core could be a solid 10-15 hour expansion set before the events of the current Remake.

1 Doesn't Need: Poor Alteration Of The Image Of Zac🎃k Fair

It doesn't seem likely that this will surely happen considering that one of many strengths of Final Fantasy VII Remake is the preservation of the characteristics and personalities of the original characters. But, if they do a remake, there's always a chance that the result could disappoint fans of this world and Zack F♕air specifically.

Especially since the original Crisis Core, fans certainl𝐆y held a certain positive image of Zack. Poor writing in a remake could sully that former image.
