After a year of being online, . The Final Fantasy game for mobile and PC launched last summer.

The free online turn-based game, based on the sensational Final Fantasy franchise, was released by Yahoo! Games in July of 2019. In the game, players were able to buౠild and upgrade their own decks and call forth pixilated versions of the Square Enix characters and creatures. It is both time and turn limited and brings all of the favorite aspects of the larger-scale games to adorable pint-sized animation. As of last Friday, the in-game currency has been disabled.

As of July 9th Final Fantasy Digital Card Game will offic🍷ially cease operations, exactly one year after it launched in Japan. The shutdown is the result of staff and developers finding a future for the game difficult to maintain. Rather than fuel a project they don’t have faith will satisfy franchise fans, Square Enix will bꦑe moving on.

While this mobile game will be missed, Final Fantasy fans will just have to choose from one of the other fourteen mai𒐪n games to get their science fantasy fix—and that’s not including the remakes and remastered editions.
