Ultimate weapons in games aren’t anything new, especially in the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy series, but it can feel deeply rewarding when you finally unlock your weapon’s final form, whether it be through battle or grinding o꧙ut a minigame. Even knowing this, some weapons almost make you question if it’s worth getting or just going with what you have. But, you know you’ve got to go for it because they look so good!

All of that is well and good, but sometimes, the method of getting the weapon can be difficult or just under some arbitrary, secret rule you had no idea you’d broken until it’s too late. Which of these have you gotten, or decided that it wasn't worth the stress to get?

8 W༺orld Champion - Final Fantasy 10

Wakka obtains World Champion from a shop and the words Obtained World Champion are inside a purple box for text - Final Fantasy 10

When discussing Blitzball, the discussion tends to be a divisive topic among the fanbase. Some will most likely only play the r꧃equired game and never touch it again. Fair, but it locks you out of getting Wakka’s ultimate weapon♏, which can break the damage limit of 9999 with every hit.

Thing is, it can take anyw꧙here from 24 to 44 g🌜ames of Blitzball and a certain number of battles fought to get the needed limit break wheels to pop up and collect before the Jupiter sigil even shows up (at a 50 percent chance too). The amount of fun and ease you'll have deeply depends on how you feel about the minigame.

7 🍸 Zwill Crossblade - Final Fantasy 15

Naglfar stares down at the party with glowing eyes - Final Fantasy XV

The boys in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy 15 surely went through a lot while dealing with the poli✃tics of war and arranged marriages, dealing with monsters seems like a less intense activity in comparison. At least until you get to the Wondrous Weapon quest. The game has other legendary weapons that can be obtained, but this one stands out for good reason.

First, t🅘he quest suggests that your party be at a minimum level of 99. The max level. Your quarry? Na🔴glfar stands at a whopping level 120, giving it a clear advantage in terms of strength. It’s weak to fire, so if you’ve been keeping up with your magic crafting and have some strong fire with added status effects, it should go a little easier. Not much, though.

6 ಌ ♛ Excalibur 2 - Final Fantasy 9

Zidane picks up the Excalibur 2 from a pillar in Memoria - Final Fantasy 9

Even if JRPGs aren't your jam, it's common knowledge that the genre of games is known for being hours long, where the general average can be 30 hours, and that's on the low side. The Final Fantasy series is no exception. The subject of this entry, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy 9ꦛ, has an average runtime of 39 hours if you’re only going after the main story.

So, how is it that, to get the knight Steiner’s strongest weapon, Excalibur 2, the game has the gall to require you to reach Memoria, the game’s final area before the end, in 12 hours or less? Sure, this is made slightly more doable with the remastered version and its time controls, but you’ll also still have to miss out on much of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the open-world side content to get there in time.

5 🃏 Zodiac Zeta Weapons - Final Fantasy 14 ♑

a group of warrious of light show off the glowy lights off Zodiac Relic Weapons - Final Fantasy 14

If you were there when the first Relic Weapons dropped in patch 2.28, you understand the hours (and days) lost hoping The FATE (Full Active Time Event) you’re looking for spawns so you can add it to your total completed. Sometimes, you’d wait around a little, other times you would manipulate the FATEs on the map in hopes of making the one you🐼 are looking for spawn.

To get the final form of your Zodiac weapons, also known as the Zeta weapons, you’ll have to upgrade your Zodiac weapon six times before reaching the final Zeta form of this line of relic weapons. That means hundreds of 🌌creatures defeated, praying to RNG that your one of dozens of drops happen soon, and plenty of dungeon runs you hopefully won’t forget to equip your Zodiac weapon in.

4 Tinkerbell - Final Fantasy 5 🐈

Twintania stands facing the party for attack - Final Fantasy 5

On paper, Tinkerbell doesn’t seem like such a difficult weapon to get. You just have to fight Twintania, one of the Demons of the Rift inside the Interdimensional Rift. The fight itself isn’t that tough either as long as 💎you prepare for it ahead of time. Trying to get Tinkerbell to drop, though, is a whole other ordeal.

First, you only have one shot to fight him, and if you defeat him in his charging form, then there’s no possibility you’ll get it, as the sword Masamune will drop in its place. Barring that though, even if you do defeat Twintania in its neutral form, you only have a scant six percent chance of the d🐈amn thing dropping. Meaning, you’ll more than likely have to reset and load for a while before it has a chance of dropping in the first p♓lace.

3 Zodiac Spear - Final Fantasy 12 🌄

Zodiac Spear found inside the Necrohol of Nabudis - Final Fantasy 12

The Zodiac Spear is annoyingly missable in the original 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy 12 and almost impossible to get without a guide to help you. There is (technically) no boss to fight or anything. The only fighting that takes place while you're hunting it down is the Giant Bomb that guards the last chest.

There are four specific chests 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:throughout the world of Ivalice that you must not open if you want this spear, and the first one is as early as Rabanastre, the first zone of the game. In the Zodiac Age remaster, they cut this out completely and instead gave an invisible chest a one percent spawn rate. Because that's fun.

2 The Weapon’s Refrain (Ultimate)ꦿ - Final Fantasy 14

Ultima weapon is behind the text that says "The Weapon's Refrain" - Final Fantasy 14

Don't feel like grinding for Zodiac weapons? Maybe you'd pref🦄er a challenge tꩵhat tests your skills and teamwork instead. Theꦿ Weapon’s Refrain (Ultimate) is a boss rush of a total of five bosses: the first three primals from A Realm Reborn, the Scion Lahabrea, and finally The Ultima Weapon. Each fight happens consecutively with no break in between, making for a boss rush of pain.

The difficulty level is cranked to the max, but🤡 the true test of patience comes from learning the rhythm and steps of each battle with seven other players. It’s a recipe for chaos, and you are going to wipe over and over again, and it could take months depending on the skill level and availability of party members.

1 🐭 Seitengrat - Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age

Seitangrat found in an invisible chest on the skyferry - Final Fantasy 12

While the Zodiac Spear in the remastered version of Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age is slightly easier to get (a lot of zodiacs in this sentence, right?}, the developers over at Square Enix decided to up the ante and insert another weapon that is even harder to get. First, you only have a one percent chance of the invisible chest pop🦹ping up on the deck of th⛄e Skyferry. Ok, fine. It gets worse from there, friends.

If you don’t have the Diamond Armlet equipped when you happen to find the chest, your chances of the weapon dropping are at zero. So let’s say you do have your armlet equipped, surely the drop rate raises then, right? Well yes, but remember, the chest itself already has an extre༒mely low chance of showing up, and your chances of the drop being the Seitengrat are marginal even within that one percent. It makes you wonder who even discovered the first one and if it were just a huge coincidence.
