The 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy series began all the way back in 1987, and it has since grown into an absolute powerhouse in the gaming industry. Rarely does a year go by without some form of big Final Fantasy project, even if the recent mainline entries' prolonged development periods have made them few and far between.
The Final Fantasy games are often lauded for their compelling stories, interesting characters, and enjoyable gameplay. With 16 main numbered titles already under its belt, not to mention a handful of numbered sequels and dozens of spin-offs, this list could go on forever - that's why we've opted to stick to the mainlines, which are packed enough as-is!
15 𒆙 Final Fantasy 2 – Firion 🐟
Unlike the first Final Fantasy title, Final Fantasy 2 featured a set cast of named characters, though players could change the protagonist's default name if they wished. The main character is Firion, and his age was never revealed in the English release, however, the Japanese guide lists him as 18 years old.
Firion's birthday is never revealed officially anywhere, nor is his height, which isn't uncommon for the earlier characters in the franchise.
14 Final Fantasy 3 – Luneth ဣ
The original Final Fantasy 3 has four generic non-specific characters that players can control, much like the first title in the series. This version has recently been revamped for modern hardware in the form of a 'Pixel Remaster', and is well worth checking out!
However, the game was remade in 3D in 2006, and the characters were given proper identities, so the main character became Luneth. We live in a weird world now wherein the 2006 remake feels comparably old to FF3's Pixel Remaster, but that remake's also the only source of information on names and ages, so we'll roll with it.
Luneth is 14 years old, though his exact birthday is unknown, and as a ch🐻ild, he is shorter than ot🎐her characters, though his height is not officially recorded anywhere.
13 𒈔 Final Fantasy 4 – Cecil 🎃
Cecil Harvey is the protagonist of , initially is a Dark Knight but destined to become a Paladin. Cecil is listed as 178 cm (5' 83") tall, but his birthday is not officially recorded anywhere.
In the first title, Cecil is 20 years old, and in FF4's take-it-or-leave-it sequels, Interlude and Final Fantasy 4: The After Years, he is 21 and 37 years old, respectively.
12 🦩 Fi꧙nal Fantasy 5 – Bartz
The protagonist of Final Fantasy 5 is Bartz Klauser, though when you first start to play his name is listed as "???." Bartz is 20 years old, though his birthday is not officially listed anywhere, and he stands at 176 cm (5' 77").
Bartz is listed as a "Wanderer," which essentially means that the playe♊r gets to choose his actual class while playing.
11 Final Fantasy 6♚ – Terra And Cele🌼s
Final Fantasy 6 was the first in the series to offer multiple characters that shared the mantle of the protagonist. Howev꧅er, it could be argued that Terra Branford and Celes Chere are the main protagonists based on the amount of time that you spend playing as them.
Terra Branford was born on October 18th and is 18 years old, she is 160 cm (5'3") tall. Celes Chere was born on March 10, and she's also 18. Celes stands at 172 cm (5'8").
10 Final Fantasy 7 – Cloud ꦓ
Cloud is arguably the most recognizable character of the Final Fantasy franchise to date, and he serves as the main character of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy 7. He is listed as being 173cm (5'8") tall.
Final Fantasy 7's universe is unique across the franchise in that its in-game dating system contains years within recognizable range of our own world. Cloud's a great example, being born on August 11th, 1986. He's 21 in the original FF7, which of course makes him 21 in FF7 Remake as well.
Future original-timeline fare puts Cloud at 23 in the Advent C𒐪hildren film, 24 in the Dirge of Cerberus spin-off, and between🏅 the ages of 14 and 21 in the Crisis Core and Before Crisis titles.
9 ꦅ Final Fantasy 8 – Squall
The sullen main character of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy 8 is Squall Leonhart and his birthday is August 23rd, with his age being 17 years old. August 𒐪23rd, being the very beginning of Virgo (and hence, end of Leo) in the widelyღ-used tropical zodiac but still very much in Leo range in the sidereal zodiac, is oddly noteworthy here.
You see, it makes that whole thing with Squall's Griever (lion) necklace and 'Maybe I'm A Lion' being the title of one of the final battle songs all rather clever, really. Are we reading too much into this? Maybe. But it just feels so right.
Squall's height has been listed differently depending on which official material you're reading, with his possible heights being: 5' 8" (173 cm), 5' 9" (175 cm), or 5' 10" (177 cm). The first's the North American manual, the second's a Japanese website, and the third's from the Ultimania. We tend to prioritize the Ultimanias, so let's call him 5'10" - we're sure he won't mind.
8 ꦺ Final Fantasy 9 – Zidane ℱ
Final Fantasy 9 is considered to be a return to the series' roots by many fans, as it went back to a more medieval-fantasy setting, rather than the more modern settings of its two PS1 brethren.
Zidane Tribal is the main protagonist, and he was born on an unspecified day in September of 1783. That makes him 16. Zidane's 173 cm (5'8") tall. He joins the ranks of a mere handful of other non-human Final Fantasy leads, though he isn't aware of it (despite his tail - FF9's a wild place) until later on in the story.
7 🌄 Final Fantasy 10 – Tidus
Final Fantasy 10 is the first in the series to launch for PlayStation 2, offering fans a beautiful upgrade in terms of graphics. Those sterling graphics, and the general allure of the hot new PS2 console, contributed greatly to the game's sales success, onboarding more new Final Fantasy fans than any entry since FF7.
The protagonist is Tidus and his age is 17 years old, though as is the case with many other FF characters, his precise birthday's an open question. Tidus is 5' 9" (175 cm) tall. Like Zidane, he's not quite entirely human, though to say more would be a rather major spoiler!
6 Fi𒐪nal Fantasy 10-2 – Yuna
Square Enix decided to shake things up for the series' first numbered sequel and made Yuna, Tidus' love interest from Final Fantasy 10 and sort of 'cental plot figure' of that game, the full-fledged leading lady. She's paired with the returning Rikku and newly-introduced Paine, making them a Charlie's Angels-esque team that kicks butt and takes names.
Yuna is only 17 years old in the first title, but by Final Fantasy 10-2, she's 19. She is 5' 3" (160 cm) tall. Though she is a summoner in the first game, she is a gunner in the sequel, and the title introduces an interesting Dressphere feature that allows you to change jobs mid-battle. Oh, and if you think '10-2' looks silly, and really want us to type 'X-2', here you go! We did it just the once.
