Final Fantasy VII's Barret Wallace is one of those characters you either get a kick out of or cringe at. In the original game, he was pretty much a joke thanks to his "Mr. T" attitude despite having some actual depth to his character. It will be interesting to see 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:what changes Square Enix decided to🌳 make to Barret. Hopefully, some good ones.

Barret may not be a fan favorite when compared to Cloud or Sephiroth, but he's lovable in his own way—at lea▨st, enough to have his very own memes. These are just a few that will have you laughing till your sides hurt and may help to convince you that Barret is more than a benchwarmer.

10 We've Co🦋me A Long Way From Polygons

Oh, the early days of Polygon characters, how far games have come. It's hilarious to look back at the misshapen man Barret once was and then see what Square has done with him now. Although many can appreciate how adult the original Final Fantasy VII was and how it's intricate story blew the minds of early gamers, there's just no getti𒊎ng around how silly the original character design is when putting t♍hem side by side to today's character designs.

9 🍌 Reverse Aging 🤡

Advent Children was incredible when it first released, and even to this day remains a fan favorite spin-off of Final Fantasy VII. The graphics were amazing for their time and are still impressive for viewers today, but when compared to Final Fantasy VII Remake, it's obvious Advent Children is dat📖ed. This funny comparison of Barret from then and now shows how far gaming graphics have come.

He actually looks ten years younger in Advent Children which takes place after the events the Final Fantasy VII.

This knee-slapping side-by-side of Tyreese and Barret is so funny and true, it's almost as if Barret belongs in the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Walking Dead. All he needs is a beenie, and he's ready for the zombie apocalypse. Honestly𒁃, this comparison came out of no-where but works perfectly. Zombies wouldn't stand a chance with Barret firing his cannons like a mad man, and he'd be perfect for Rick's team.

7 Looks Like A Terry Crews!𓄧

Terry Crew's as Barret works so well it's almost a won🅷der that Terry isn't voice-acting Barret. Terry is an amazing actor and comedian, he would have made a great Barret. Unfortunately, when Barret was first created, it seemed Square wanted to give him a more stereotypical black-man attitude that hasn't aged well over the years. Still, seeing Terry Crews as Barret makes one think about how much better Barret could have been had he been⛄ modeled after a less stereotypical persona.

6 Sounds like Kirk Lazaru💙s

Funny how Square Enix had the chance🔯 to make some changes to Barret, and this is what players get–Kirk Lazarus. There's been a lot of critique regarding Barret's new look and voice. It was obvious from the Demo that something about the new and improved Barret wasn't all that improved. His exaggerated black dialect and Mr. T-wannabe attitude has fans confus♊ed and a little irked.

Basically,𒉰 if you don't get the meme, he sounds like a white dude voice acting a black dude and it's not good.

5 Not Quite What We Had In Mind 🌌 ꦜ

Keeping up with Barret's disappointing voice acting—which probably has more to do with studio preference than Joh Eric Bentley's preference—this meme shows how text boxes and imagination can go a long way. Though voice acting is an incredible talent, there is something about imagining a voice in your head as you read the text. A lot about a character can change when they are given a voice. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:It is especially disappointing when it is nowhere near to how you imagined that character 🔯would sound.

4 Don't Need Those Shades, Man 🌱

My dude⛎, why? This has got to be one of the funniest Barret memes because it's so true, and yet it's not something people think about until its brought up. It's not like Midgard isn't dark enough as is. The shades do help to anchor his cool, militaristic character, but it does seem silly. He must have really good eyesight, or maybe their actually prescription glasses and he just doesn't want anyone to know.

3 Bromance Date 🤪

If players can't manage to woo either Aerith or Tifa, Cloud will end up gꦇoing with Barret on a bromance date in the Golden Saucer. It's cute and funny and really helps to instill their friendship in the player's mind—but it's also really silly. Seeing them sitting across from each o🎐ther, arms folded, looking down or ahead looks super uncomfortable for them both.

It's almost as if Cloud is sulᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚking over not getting the girl and Barret is♓ thinking that he has better things to be doing. Wonder how this will play out in the coming Remake episodes.

2 💎 The Loudeꦚst Party Member

If there's anything the demo taught players, it's that Final Fantasy VII Remake will involve a lot of Barret yelling—mostly at Cloud. Barret is loud and likes to take out a lot of his extra en﷽ergy on the stoic Cloud who couldn't care less. It will be exciting to see how these two continue to interact in the full game and whether or not Barret will bring it down a few notches.

1 ♉ The First Dab ℱ

One of the most exciting things about the remake regarding Barret is to see him dab. That's right, Barret was the f♈♏irst to do it and when it's long out of style he'll continue to do it. As a man who holds to his own standards, it's unlikely he'll care what people have to say about his outdated moves. Keep on keeping on Barret, we hope to see these sick moves in the Remake.
