Even though 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy 7 Remake is more than a year behind us, plenty of gamers are still going through it for the first time. Many are perhaps now inspired to play the original Final Fantasy 7. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The turn-based RPG that changed the genre and gaming as a whole is almost 25 years🤡 old, but still holds up.
One reason it is still so charming is thanks to the wonderful cast of characters you control. Not every party member is made the same, however, as the following list shows. Fortunately, there is really only one stinker among the nine party members. This list is only considering their part in the original game and is more about their personality and style than utility, so if the remake made them cooler it won't help them here.
9 Cait Sith
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:You🌺 first run 🥃into Cait Sith at the Gold Saucer. He is a toy cat riding on top of a mechanical Moogle. The other characters never really question why he exists or who is controlling him, never once pondering whether or not it is a Shinra ploy to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:infiltrate Avalanche.
He plays an important role in the story, but everything from his dialogue to the basic design seems like it was made to get on players' nerves.
8 Red XIII
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Red XIII is the last party member you get while on your way out of Midgar. He is a talking animal who is older thꦍan all the other party members but still a teenager by the standards of his species. He seems irrelevant to the story until you reach Cosmo Canyon ꦬwhere his backstory is fleshed out.
Despite learning his full name by this time, he still goes by Red XIII or whatever name you give him. His Limit Breaks are also nothing special, just powerful attacks with small status ailments and adjustments depending on the Limit Break's level.
7 🌺 Cid Highwind 💎
Cid H🌼ighwind is an interesting character but it is ha♓rd to like him. The aspiring astronaut is just too cruel to his wife, Shera. You learn why he is so mean to her and why she accepts it, but it does not excuse the behavior.
He eventually fulfills his dream and apologizes to his wife for the years of bad behavior. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:In battle, he is more of a dragoon, completely unrelated to his science background.
6 🐷 🌊 Vincent Valentine
Vincent Valentine is not that༒ well-rounded in the origi꧙nal Final Fantasy 7. He is one of two hidden characters in the game. As a result, he does not have as much dialogue as the other party members during ꦜthe story.
He does get a few moments to shine, though, particularly in a small side quest featuring the tragic lost love of his life, Lucrecia. He still became a fan favorite later on, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:even starring in his own game.
5 Yuf🐟fie Kisaragi ✱
Yuffie Kisaragi has more to do than Vincent Valentine and you can even go on a date with her in the Gold Saucer. She is unlo🐎ckable early on in the game and you also unlock a fairly extensive side quest later on in her hometown of Wutai.
She also has more dialogue in the story despite being completely optional. If we were considering her role in Final ꦯFantasy 7 Remake I🐓ntergrade: Intermission, she would be even higher on this list.
4 Aerith Gainsboroug♓h 🗹
Aerith is not only a great character, but she is also a part of one of gaming's biggest plot twists. If you've managed to avoid learning about Aerith's part in the story up until now, we won't spoil it here.
She is outgoing and extroverted, especially when compared to Tifa. She is not super useful in combat, unfortunately,♋ mostly being relegated to a healer or magic user.
3 Barret Wallace 🌸 ඣ
Barret is the second characterꦍ and joins the party a꧂lmost immediately. It is interesting to see him go through changes throughout the story.
He starts out as a radical eco-terrorist who believes in going to violent extremes for the cause. Later on, he comes to regret some of his views and renounce his extremism while still maintaining his beliefs and drive. Shinra destroyed his hometown and family, so it is easy to sy🍌mpathize with his views even at the start.
2 🔯 ♔ Tifa Lockheart
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:You first find 🐷Tifa in the Seventh Heaven bar. She and Cloud already have a past that is fully explored and later becomes an integral part of Cloud's story. In combat she is a brawler, preferring her fists over weapons.
She is depicted as shy and reserved. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Her Limit Break is a roulette wheel similar to Wakka from Final Fantasy 10. Later on, she becomes the leader of the party for a short while during Cloud's absence.
1 ꦍ Cloud Strife ✤
By virtue of being the main character from the beginning, Cloud Strife remains the most fleshed-out character of Final Fantasy 7. He is still shrouded in mystery and players learn more about him as the story goes on. By the end, he is almost unrecognizable as the g𒁃uarded and cold mercenary from the opening sequence.
His interactions with Aerith are also a source of goꦰod comedy since he is clearly uncomfortable at first and not used to somebody who🐈 is so forward.
