Square Enix has issued a press release that has revealed the official box art for the European and North American versions of the game. The box art is a recreation of the cover used for the North American version of Final Fantasy VII, with Cloud staring up at the Shinra HQ. The same artwork was rece✱ntly unve🏅iled on September 7 to celebrate the anniversary of the North American release of the original game and it has been re-purposed for the new cover.

It's clear that the box art isn't the final version of the product, as it's lacking any official age rating. It's also unlikely that Final Fantasy VII Remake will be the full title of the game, as it's going to be part of a series of remakes for Final Fantasy VII.

Square Enix has also released a new gameplay video showing the boss battle against Abzu (also known as Aps in Final Fantasy VII), which includes Aerith, Cloud, and Tifa fighting alongside each other. Cloud also summons Ifrit to help in the battle, which me𒀰ans that the summons will be introduced at a much earlier point in the game.

Final Fantasy VII Remake was first announced during E3 2015, but there was almost no new information revealed about the game until 2019. The fact that the game now has official box art and gameplay footage makes it feel 🦋as if the release 🌠date is just around the corner.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is due to be relea🐟sed for PlayStation 4 on March 3, 2020.
