Final Fantasy VII is a fan favorite for many, a true gaming classic defined by big moments like its villain's signature theme and a certain character's demise. Everyone, even Batman actor Robert Pattinson, got emotional when Aerith met her fat🐻e. The remake has side-stepped these moments so far, instead focusing on the beloved characters and their slice-of-life interactions. After all, Square Enix is trying to split the story into three separate, full-length games. There's bound to be many m💫ore small moments.
Although the main story is entertaining, some of the most fun we have had with Finalꦯ Fantasy VII Remake is with these side quests. In what is objectively the best side quest, you can find a small alley with a bunch of cats just 🧸loafing around.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Cat Zone
During Chapter 3, you will ga♏in access to the Sector 7 slums and where you can meet a child named Betty. Betty will give you the Lost Frie༒nds quest, where she asks Cloud to help find her three friends, who all happen to be cats. While Cloud acts like a brooding and angsty stick in the mud, he definitely is excited to meet some new friends.
Betty will giveღ you clues to find the cats, but every time you try to pet the cat, they will run away. When you reach the end of the quest, you end up in a small alleyway nestled away in the slums, which seems to be the home of all the sector's cats. All the cats are just lounging around, vibing, and it is a sight to behold. While the cats run away from you again when you try to pet them, it is a cute moment of reprieve before you delve back into the supജer serious main story.
The small cat utopia is just one of many details that help make the world of Final Fantasy VII feel lived in and a🍌live. Also, it is a nice change of pac♓e just chasing some cute cats before heading off to take down an evil mega-🎐corporation and change fate or whatever.
