The demo for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy VII Remake is now live on the PlayStation Store and fans around the world have had a chance to experience the initial bombing mission for themselves. Fans of the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII have noticed a few references in the demo to events that happened in the spin-off games that were released years after Final Fantasy VII.
The Final Fantasy VII spin-off games and movies were released long after the PlayStation original -- and it shows. The additions to canon have trouble fitting in with the established events of Final Fantasy VII, as the games needed new threats for the player to fight, but had to explain why they weren't mentioned during Final Fantasy VII.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is keeping elements of the Compilation, b🦩ut Square Enix should have used this opportunity to start with a clean slate and dispose of🌌 the elements of the spin-offs that don't work.
Crisis Core - God Is Indifferent & The Genesis Problem
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII is a prequel game starring Zack Fair. It gave fans an inside ✨look at the Shinra Corporation and the membersh🌞ip of SOLDIER before Sephiroth defected.
Genesis is one of the worst characters in Final Fantasy history, but that's just a personal opinion and there are many Final Fantasy VII fans who love him. The reason he needs to be scraped from Final Fantasy VII Remake is due to his involvement with the events of the story. Genesis is revealed to be one of the people who influenced Sephiroth during the Nibelheim Incident and he was still kicking around as of the end of Dirge of Cerberus, so the temptation to include him as a secret architect of events might be too strong for Nomura to resist. Genesis is one of the embodiments of being a Marty-Stu, especially when it comes to his interactions with the next issue with Crisis Core - Minerva.
Final Fantasy VII is a story about death, reincarnation, and how people are never truly gone, so long as their friends remember them. The planet of Final Fantasy VII was a sentient entity composed of all living things after they passed on, which could then create new life. Crisis Core threw this all out of the window by introducing Minerva -- a godlike figure within the Lifestream with the power to bring back the dead. Adding a goddess to Final Fantasy VII throws out a lot of themes for the game and we get the impression that the d𒀰evelopers just wanted a big busted blonde lady to bring Genesis back from the dead because he's just that great. (Screw Aerith, it's the pretty boy who needs to cheat death.)
Before Crisis - AVALANCHE Is Too Strong & The Japan-Only Problem
Before Crisis -Final Fantasy VII- was an RPG that starred the Turks as they did the Shinra Corporation's dirty work. We know that the events of Before Crisis are canon in Final Fantasy VII Remake, as events from the game are referenced by Heideg🗹ger in the demo.
By far the biggest problem with referencing Before Crisis is that it was only released for smartphones for a limited time in Japan. The vast majority of Final Fantasy VII fans have never played the game, so it's baffling that it would be referenced in Final Fantasy VII Remake. If a remake of Before Crisis was on the cards for modern systems (as was once mentioned with the Nintendo 3DS) then that would be one thing, but the lack of ways𝓡 to experience the game means that it's best forgotten 💛for the time being.
There are also story issues that should prevent Before Crisis from being canon. In Before Crisis, there is an earlier version of AVALANCHE that poses a genuine threat to Shinra, with its own armed forces, a mad scientist leader, and a warrior with the power to keep up with Sephiroth in battle. Their presence in the story makes no sense in the grand scheme of things, especially as they are never mentioned in the main story. The original AVALANCHE worked as antagonists when considering Before Crisis in a bubble, but they should have stayed there.
The Sequels - Deepground & Where Is Mother?
Final Fantasy VII has two sequels - a movie called Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII. It's pretty easy to ignore Advent Children, as its events are set after t𝕴he story and its lame villains don't appear until after Sephiroth is defeaꦉted.
What is more problematic is Dirge of Cerberus, which starred Vincent Valentine. Dirge of Cerberus established that the Shinra Corporation had another secret group of super-powered soldiers that had to be sealed away beওneath Midgar. When Meteor almost decimated the city, it allowed Deepground to escape, led by an elite group of soldiers known as the Tsviets. The Shinra Corporation somehow managed to keep the existence of Deepground a secret from most of its high-ranking members, otherwise, the question of why they weren't used against Sephiroth when the Meteor/Weapon situation became critical might have come up.
Deepground were always pretty lame, with generic designs and a backstory that had to do backflips to explain why no one had mentioned them in Final Fantasy VII. There is likely a strong temptation to include them in Final Fantasy VII Remake, which we hope Square Enix can resist.
Final Fantasy VII Remake will be available for PlayStatio🌳n 4 on April 10, 2020.
