The latest trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake has been released and it sꦉhows the effects of the summon monsไters that the player can acquire by pre-ordering the game.

In Final Fantasy VII, the player didn't get the chance to use summons until they reached the Chocobo Farm, which was situated outside of Midgar. Final Fantasy VII Remake is set entirely during the Midgar portion of the original game, which means that the player's combat options would be severely restricted if the developers were using the same content from Final Fantasy VII. The developers have switched things up, so that the player will receive summons in Final Fantasy VII Remake a lot earlier than in the original game, including creatures like Ifrit, Shiva, and Levi🍨atha✨n.

The people who pre-order the various editions of Final Fantasy VII Remake will receive access to the Chocobo Chick, Carbuncle, and Cactuar summons at the start of the game. The Final Fantasy VII Remake Twitter page has uploaded new videos showing off th⛄e power of these new summons. The first video shows the spellcasting Chocobo Chick, which is free for everyone who pre-orders the game.

The second video shows the new design for C🐠arbuncle, which has the ability to cast spells that ♕create protective barriers on the party.

The final vid🔯eo shows Cactuar, which rains a thousand painful needles onto the opponent.

The summon monsters were one of the most memorable aspects of Final Fantasy VII and it started a trend of lengthy cutscenes appearing in battle as part of summons. The Final Fantasy games on the original PlayStation were notorious for the length of their summon spells, with Knights of the Round in Final Fantasy VII being the most infamous. The summons in Final Fantasy VII Remake work differently than their predecessors, as they fight alongside the player character on the battlefield, rather than being single-use spells. The question that fans are now asking themselves is what other new summons will also be appearing in Final Fantasy VII Remake that weren't in the original game?
