The bandana could be his, but the glove is unmistakably Jessie's. Compare the two's hand garments in prior cutscenes and one will see Biggs donning pure black gloves, while Jessie's has the gre💙y plate and studs near the knuckles. Surely this hints at her continued existence.
9 💯 Flashforwards
In the opening hours of the game Cloud experiences visions of the future. They flash only for a brief second, and only those who played the 1997 game would have known his vision was Aerith's death. After beating the game the reason for these visions becomes clearer. They are not nꦇecessarily looks into ജthe future, but a glimpse of what already happened in a prior timeline.
8 Wutai
Midgar and Wutai waged war with each other fifteen years prior to the game's events. However, tensions between the two nations still seem high; h♌igher than they did in the origꩵinal game.
Shinra propaganda says Wutai is partly to blame for Avalanche's terrorist attac🐽ks. Is another war between the two in the cards? If so, how will this affect Yuffie's role in the sequels?
7 Cait Sith
Those with no knowledge of the original were surely confused to see a cat fall to its ♍knees i🍌n grief at the sight of Sector Seven's collapse. Fans knew right away they were laying their eyes on Cait Sith, one of the least celebrated members of the party. His reaction to the devastation and his presence also hint at his true identity, which normally isn't revealed until later in the game.
6 Lil Stamp During Zack's Scene ✅ 🌟
As Zack stands among all of the Shinra soldiers he just killed, the camera shows a closeup of Lil Stamp on a Shinra product. This dog, curiously, is a significantly different design than💫 the one players see earlier in the game. Because of its prominence in the scene, it is probably hinting at more than just the scene showing the past. Perhaps it takes place in an entirely different world. If this is the case, when will this finally be revealed and what impact will it have on series?
5 The Three Ha🏅rbingers Of Fate
Final Fantasy VII Remake is so good and all-encompassing, it even makes Advent Children relevant again. The three bosses the party faces before the fꦿinal duel with Sephiroth all resemble Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo from the animated movie in their weaponry and moves.
The trio even comes together to form the same Bahamut they do in the original film. T𒊎he three incarnations of Sephiroth's spirit being brought into the past foreshadows any future timeline disruptions as well as the potential for an even more powerful S﷽ephiroth in the sequels.
4 Soldiers Recognizing Cloud ♓
While in the Shinra building, two soldiers recogni🅺ze Cloud. While this can simply be attributed to the hero's past with the corporation, it also hints at his true backstory. Cloud was never actually accepted into the Soldier program. Because of this, it makes sense for the guards to so readily remember his face as if they were friends.
3 First Encounter With Reno 💛𓆉
Upon their first encounter before the , Reno asks what class of Soldier Cloud was. After he answers "First," Reno responds "If you're gonna (lie t0) me, at least try to make it believable..." This line, while see🌟mingly irrelevant, drops a big clue as to Cloud's backstory.
The protagonist was never actually Soldier First-Class, and took on Zack's memories and exp♌eriences as his own. If he had been, everybody in the corporation would know him.
2 🔥 Rude Saving Tifa
During the battle for Sector Seven, Reno is moments away from blasting Tifa away with the helicopter before Rude abruptly moves the vehicle, causing his partner to miss. He simply comments that his finger slipped, but fans are aware of the deeper implication. Later in the original game, Rude admits to☂ having a crush on Tifa. His causing Reno to miss the potentially fatal blow is a nod to what will surely be a revelation in the future games. Besides, even if Reno had fired accurately, the Whispers would have intervened.
1 💃 𓂃 The Flower Aerith Gives To Cloud
When Cloud and Aerith first meet in Final Fantasy VII Remake, she gives him a flower she says is meant for lovers after they reunite. Whileꦑ a solid sales pitch, the li💝ne has deeper meaning after beating the game. Because it is a second timeline going through previous events, their first meeting is indeed a reunion of two lovers, only neither are aware of their past encounters. Time travel is a risky storytelling device, but this game handles it well and makes fans excited for the future.
