Following Square Enix’s launch of the game, the title’s first three days saw more than 3.5 million physical shipments and digital sales worldwide. It was one of the biggest launches for a PS4 game and the fastest-selling PS4 exclusive ever, exceeding the performances of Spider-Man (3.3 million) and God of War (3.1 million).
