The chaos surrounding its release has done little to hamper Final Fantasy VII Remake in the UK charts. According to Final Fantasy VII Remake is the number one selling game in the UK for the week ending April 11. It's followed by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in second place and Animal Crossing: New Horizons in third. These sales only reflect the physical copies of the game shipped. It's likely that Square Enix's decision to ship Final Fantasy VII Remake early in the UK contributed to its success, as the game sold out at multiple retailers in the🎃 days following the announcement.
