It was revealed at PAX East by Michael-Christopher Koji Fox that some of the songs in Final Fantasy 14 are from the Mothercrystal's perspective. Koji Fox works as a Square Enix translator and a co-lead lore and world developer for Final Fantasy 14, so he knows what he is talking about.
In particular, Koji Fox said the ⭕songs "Answers" and "Dragonsong" are from Hydaelyn's point of view. "Answers" is Hydaelyn explaining to warring tribes that one truly discovers themselves through hardships and "Dragonson🌟g" is Hydaelyn struggling to come to terms with the cycle of the Dragonsong War in Ishgard.

It is stated in🐷 cutscenes where Hydaelyn talks to the Warrior of Light that she and Zodiark used to work together to create a balance. However, Zodiark eventually got too greedy for power and wanted to take over. Thus the balance was disrupted and the Warrior of Light now exists.
