Vath

Players can unlock the Vath as soon as they finish defeating Ravana. The main story scenario will naturally lead back to Loth ast Vath after “Lord of the Hive”, but if you neglected to pick up the unlock quest while completing Heavensward, just return to Loth ast Vath and pick up “The Naming of Vaꩲth” from 👍the Vath Storyteller.

This will start a quest chain that results in the Vath establishing their own Adventurer’s 🃏Guild. From there, players can stop by every day to complete a set of rotating quests that reward EXP, esteem points, and Vath currency which can be exchanged for unique rewards.

The Vath offer an assortment of fetch and combat quests, making them ideal for raising Disciple of War and Magic classes from level 50 and up. However, it must be noted that all quests are synced to the player’s level and cannot be completed as any class other than the one players began the quest as. So, if players accept a quest as a White Mage, they will not be able to turn in the quest as a Dragoon. This rule applies to all allied beast tribe quests currently implemented in FFXIV.

Beyond the exclusive minions and mount all b⛄east tribes offer, the Vath’s unique rewards include cosmetic glamour items resembling the Vath and Gnath’s armor pieces, c🦩rafting ingredients, and a majority of the Chocobo food items used to train or summon Chobobos.

Vanu Vanu

The Vanu Vanu are unlocked after defeat𝓀ing Bismarck. Return to Ok’ Zundu and pick up “Three Beaks to the Wind” from Soru Vanu. This will unlock th⭕e Vanu Vanu as an allied beast tribe.

As with all allied beast tribes, Vanu Vanu will offer a rotating set of quests that can be repeated daily. The quests are centered around an assortment of non-combat-based fetch quests, a number of which require mounting a san🦩uwa and completing various tasks.

Like the Vath, the Vanu Vanu will exchange crafting ingre𒀰dients and cosmetic glamour items that allow players to dress up as Vanu Vanu. These can be purchased with gil or Vanu Vanu beast tribe currency, but some items can only be unlocked after reaching a certain relationship level with the tribe.

Completing quests will award esteem points, which go toward strengthening the player’s relationship with the beast tribe. As only three quests can be accepted from a tribe per day, and only 12 daily beast tribe allowances, p🌺layers will likely take weeks to raise their relationship with the various beast tribes. Nonetheless, doing so will unlock unique and highly desiraꦅble rewards that cannot be claimed elsewhere in the game, making them well worth the effort.

Moogles

The Moogles are the hardest tribe to unlock in Heavensward, mostly due to the fact that they require the completion of three sets of side quests before players can even pick 🌃up the quest to start unlocking the Moogles.

The first quest chain can be started after the Heavensward main scenario quest “Moglin’s Judgement”. Make your way above Moghome and speak to Mogleo to pick up “A Pebble F💝or Your Thoughts”. Mogleo will give you three more quests after that, which should lead you to the next set of unloc🎃k quests.

Speak with Mogloo, who will give🙈 you “Protecting the Pom”. There will be five side quests to complete after “Protecting the Pom”, culminating wi𒅌th “Trouble At Zenith”. After finishing those side quests, teleport to Ishgard and pick up “Into the Mists” from the Unflinching Temple Knight, who stands near the Last Vigil aetheryte shard.

The final quest chain has a total of nine quests. Completing those will unlock “Tricks and Stone”, which requires having a Disciple of the Hand class at level 50. Finish that, and🔯 you’ll have unlocked the Moogles as an allied beast tribe.

The Moogle beast tribe quests, much like the Ixali from A Realm Reborn, can only be completed as a crafter and are ideal for leveling crafting classes from level🐻 50 to 60. Unique rewards include two sets of crafting gear (the Adept and Trailblazer’s set, which can also be acquired from Scrip Exchange), dragon mini♔ons, Moogle furniture pieces, and crafting ingredients.
