The latest questline in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy XIV offers a glimpse at a game that never happened, but could one day come to pass, as Yasumi Matsuno has revealed that the "Save the Queen" storyline is based on an unused idea for a Vagrant Story sequel.

Yasumi Matsuno worked for both Quest Corporation and Square Enix in the past, where he worked as the director on classic games like Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen, Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together, and Final Fantasy Tactics. Matsuno worked on an action RPG called Vagrant Story, which is still cons🦩﷽idered to be one of the best games on the original PlayStation.

The fans never received a Vagrant Story sequel, but they can experience something similar to it in Final Fantasy XIV. The 5.25 patch added a series of side quests called "Save the Queen: Blades of Gunnhildr". This questline was written by Matsuno, who has contributed stories to Final Fantasy XIV in the past. Matsuno asked for fans' opinions on the questline on Twitter and a user called mex_rage mentioned how they liked the concept of how the mind created defenses to deal with trauma, so as not to confront the truth. Matsuno responded to this comment and said that this same concept was intended for a Vagrant Story sequel that he came up with twenty years ago.

The fans never received a Vagrant Story sequel, but one could be on the cards. A ꩲfan called Lord_Nica commented that it's time for a sequel and Matsuno dropped a cryptic comment, suggesting that som꧃ething is in the works.

Matsuno seemingly left Square Enix on bad terms following his departure from Final Fantasy XII, but whatever issues he had before have likely been patched up by now. He has dropped hints that a new Final Fantasy Tactics is in the works, and the idea of there being a new Vagrant Story suggests that the long-overdue r𒊎eturn to Ivalice could soon ౠbecome a reality.
