This particular dungeon functions a little differently than others and it’s important to know wh✅at you’re getting into to develop the🔜 best strategy. Worst case scenario you can muscle your way to victory through lots of grinding, but there are some tips for progressing more efficiently.

10 🎐 How To Unlock ﷺ

FFXIV Dungeon Totem

To access the Palace of the Dead you need to unlock it first. This can only be done once you reach level 17. Then you need to𝐆 go to the Adventurer’s Guild in New Gridania, there you can be given the relevant quest to seek out the Deep dungeon.

It’ll be located west of the South Shroud near the Quarrymill. It really isn’t t🌌errible hard to find or access, but you do have to meet the necessary requi💎rements.

9 Rewards

FFXIV Weapon

Diving into the Deep Dungeon can net you a number of rewards, but players are mainly looking for three things in particular, Poeti🐻cs, Aetherpool Gear, and Gelmorran Poꦆtsherds.

Poetics are traded for a number of useful items and Gelmorran Potsherds are a rare and hard to find currency that can be used to obtain some important items like the Disemb🦩odied Head Resonatorღ or Sustaining Potions. But the Aetherpool Gear is the main prize as it can be traded for an i235 weapon.

8 🦂 You Start From Scratch

FFXIV Character

The first thing to keep in mind is that once you start the dungeon with a team all of you will start at level 1 with no gear. Part of the challenge and fun of the dungeon is grinding your way to obtain ⭕essential gear and leveling up in stages.

Eventually you’ll reach a floor that you can’t pass as the game will notify you that your gear isn’t up to snuff. At this point you need 𒉰to restart and grind upwards again f🌺or better and better Aetherpool gear until you can beat the final floors.

7 Have A🍎 Healerಞ

FFXIV Healer

The composition of your team and whether they’re the or not isn’t terribly important. Obvious strong enough to fight well, but you don’t need a specific setup in or🎀der to beat the dungeon as your tactics and cohesiveness as a team is much more important.

That being said it doesn’t hurt to have at least one healer to accompany the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:DPS classes as they’ll start to see a lot of use after about floor 💎20 or so. A healer can save you from having to do a lot of resta🗹rts and cut down on the overall grinding time.

6 🌠 Use The Pomanders ♛

FFXIV Pomander Of Resolution

Pomanders are helpful items you can find in some treasure chests. Many players have a tendency to hoard these for tougher fl꧙oors, but this is often a mistake. Theꦇse items can only be used in the dungeon and you lose all of them with each reset.

Rather than waste these helpful items you should use them almost as soon as you get them. The only exceptions to this are when you’ve nearly completed a floor and Affluency Pomanders are better for the next floor to increase th🌌e rewards you find in treasure chests.

5 Watch Your Step 🎃 🌺

FFXIV Floor

It can be tempting to rush through floors or to sprint towards the nearest chest. Don’t do this, the floors꧅ are littered with traps and b👍ombs that can wreck you and your team.

Take your time to work through each floor dodging or deali𓄧ng with traps as you encounter them. This🍨 doesn’t mean you have to clear floors and meticulously deal with every trap but be a little cautious and take your time.

4 ꦺ Work As A Team

FFXIV Team

It’s important to fight and travel as a team when clearing floors and exploring nooks and crannies. If your team is busy handling a mimic don’t go wandering off where you mig🅺ht pull a patr🐽olling enemy or set off a trap.

You don’t need to be holding hands and there’s nothing wrong with a little scouting, but make sure to stay close and definitely don’🍸t sꦿplit up. When you stumble across a powerful trap next to a group of enemies you’ll want someone watching your back and not busy with a fight of their own.

3 Fight Firs🌌t, Loot Later 🤡

FFXIV Chest

Many players have the impulse to rush a chest when they see one to ensure they get the best reward when the loot is split among the team or in the hopes it cont💞ains a useful item for the fight that’s waiting for them.

This is almost always a bad idea as chests are often booby trapped. The last thing you want when f⛎acing a tough fight is for a teammate to trigger an AOE bomb that takes a chunk out of everyone’s health. Be patient and once the threat has been dealt with then go in and start gathering your reward.

2 Saving

FFXIV Bench (Save)

An interesting mechanic in the Palace of the Dead is how your progress is tracked and saved. You have two save files to work with and they operate independently from each other for the most part. When you fall in battle you will revert back to your last save point so it’s ౠimportant to keep them updated.

Overwriting these save files will restart your progress in the dungeon except for your Aetherpool Gear which is permanent. A good strategy is to get as far as you caꦕn on one save, start ove🌞r with the other until you get as far as you can then reset both.

1 ๊ When To Cash In ꧅

FFXIV FLoor 100

If you’re looki𒀰ng for Peotics, Gelmorran Potsherds, or trying to complete a challenge go as far and as long as you want beyond floor 50. But if you’re wanting to get an i235 weapon ✃you really don’t need to go far.

Once you’ve beaten floor 50 and have 🎉your hands on a set of Arms and Armor that are both +30 you can trade that gear in for an i235 weapon. The beauty is that you can grind for as many as you want, it’s a repeatable dungeon with an infinite amount of resources and items you can extract fr🐻om it.
