After over a decade’s worth of development time, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Square Enix had big plans to recuperate costs for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy XV. It wasn’t going to just launch as a game fans had been dying for since the PS3 announcement. 🍃They wanted to have movie ve♏rsions, spinoffs, and lots of DLC.
The first pack had a staggering amount of releases, wh📖ich all focused on Noctis’ brothers in arms. The plan for the second wave was to focus on secondary characters like Aranea, Lunafreya, Ardyn, and Noctis as well. Only Ardyn’s episode launched with the rest of the DLC, and future plans for the brand, being c♔anceled.
So, with all that DLC this means that there are five playable characters in the main entry. Besides Noctis, Ignis, Prompto, Gladiolus, and Ardyn, there are also three guest characters. Unfortunately Aranea, Cor, and Iris were not playable. With all that out of the way let’s get to ranking who pl꧙ayed best.
5 Gladiolus
Gladiolus is the weakest of the bunch. His DLC was actually first. Now, by weak, that doesn’t refer to his power be♑cause he is the strongest. Just look at those muscles for confirmation. What makes him weakest is that he is too slow.
It didn’t help that his story wasn’t that interesting either except for the finale, which faced him off against Gilgamesh. It was also nice to have Cor accompany a party member again. Ultimately his playtime is forgettable as there wasn’t much to grasp onto in terms of story or interesting gameplay elements or envi🌌ronments.
4 Ardyn
While Ardyn wasn’t that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:interesting of a villain in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy XV, in that players 🎃barely had time to bond with him actually being a villain, his DLC is not too bad. Granted, even with the bac🌜kstory it still doesn’t cement him as one of the best antagonists in the series. Being able to play as him was quite fun though.
He actually has a similarly diverse skill set as Noct൩is. He too has an arsenal of swords he can summon into battle from the ether. The only downside to playing him is that most of his story, and play areas for that matter, are contained in smaller, indoor areas.
3 Ignis
As is the case with most of these DLC episodes, Ignis’ story is too short. He does, however, have the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:best story tie-in to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy XV. His take i♕s all about the grand battle right before he loses his eyes🌠ight.
He’s like a food ninja, quick, and full of power. Having his battles take pl𓂃ace with Leviathan in the background makes everything that happens in the DLC so exciting. If it were longer, he might have been the better secondary c🌟haracter.
2 Prompto
Prompto’s entire backstory is baffling. Between his DLC and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the main story in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy XV, it’s still not clear what he♔ is. Is he a clone, or some kind of robot? If that’s the case then how did he grow up with Noctis and more imporౠtantly, lose weight? Can robots get big?
There are too many questions to go over with Prompto now, but what’s more important is his gameplay. Think of his DLC like 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy168澳洲幸运5开奖网: meets Metal Gear. It has a lot of great environments, with bigger♑ open spaces, and also offers 🦩ranged attacks, making him standout more next to everyone else.
Even the stealth sec🦋tions were good. Being able to explore the white wilderness on a snowmobile was pretty impresive as well. Out of every DLC his feels the most fleshed out. In a way it is still rushed a bit, but again, it is better than the other three. So, Prompto may not be the most likable character, but he is the most fun secondary character to play ܫas.
1 Noctis
Is this choice for the number one spot that surprising? Players will spend fifty plus hours with Noctis so, knowing that, of course the team wanted to get his combat skills right. The other characters’ DLC and mechanics fꦛeel a little rushed comparatively. They’re great help in combat next to Noctis, especially with their combo attacks, but on their own, they are 🅰nothing without Noctis. Ardyn, of course, is the exception since he never joins the party.
Anyway Noctis is the very reason why 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy XV 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:was praised as highly as it was. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Square Enix 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:meshed together elements from classic ent🐓ries with the action of Kingdom Hearts in order to make Noctis’ combat stick out. It was more refined than that series though and had something that those games didn’t even get close to until Kingdom Hearts III: open environments.
Not only that but being able to zip around the battlefield by launching swords and teleporting was a feature that never got old. His ability to use devastating magic and ev🌄en bigger summons also made𓆏 him not only fun to play as in the game, but one of the most powerful main heroes in the series. Noctis rules. That's the end of story.
