The map and the battle screen look great, don't misunderstand. The only issue here is that it feels limited in how much you can control it. You can zoom way out, but you can't zoom in to get a closer look at your characters as you move them on the grid.

There also seems to be an issue where your camera can't go all the way around. It stops when you rotate it and try to turn the camera to look at back your units from the enemy's perspective, which is a weird limitation to put in place. You can view your units close-up normally, but it transitions from the map screen to the battle screen.

9 🔯 Add Pause And Slow-Motion Battle Controls

We all remember the fun of slow motion and pausing in combat when playing the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:3DS-era Fire Emblem games. It's devastating that not only was the pause function in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fire Emblem: Three Houses, but Intelligent Systems has also scrapped it entirely now. It made everything much more dr🥀amatic and meant you could take some sweet screenshots.

The battle animations in this game look wonderful, and we'd love to get a closer look. The only small issue with them at the moment is that they're extremely fast. Attacks come out rapidly, so it would be infinitely better if you could slow them down. You can, of course, speed up the battle animations, so why can't you pause or slow them down?

The Emblem Rings in Fire Emblem Engage are a bit too invasive for our taste. Having them float alongside your character in battle like they're haunting them doesn't ever sit well while playing through. They have outrageously powerful abilities and Engaging with them turns you into some 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Ball Z-Esque fusion person. It's a strange choice for sure.

We don't want them gone completely and if you like them that's fine, but making them something a bit more optional we think would enhance the game considerably. 7 Don’t Lock Emblem Outfits ཧBehind Amiibo

The Amiibo Gazebo located in your home base Somniel lets you scan Amiibo to receive various items. You can only scan five a day and if you scan a Fire Emblem Amiibo, you'll be rewarded with a Fashion Ticket which lets you unlock any of your currently owned Emblem outfits for your characters. Also, not all of your units can equip these Emblem outfits which is dumb.

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Nintendo loves to limit Amiibo uses, but we're all going to go into the Switch's system menu to trick it into thinking a day has passed anyway, so why not just let us scan to our heart's content? These outfits are also, for some reason, gender locked. So you can't wear Marth's armour on your female characters, for example. Having the outfits locked behind an Amiibo seems like a strange choice, especially when there is a designated costume shop to buy different clothes from anyway.

6 Give Dismount Option F𒆙or Mounted Units🐓

This was a great addition to Three Houses, and it's such a shame it hasn't been moved over to Engage. It gave your mounted units outrageous adaptability, especially your flying units. Having characters glued to their mounts all the time simply feels needlessly restrictive because of it.

We'd love for our Pegasus Knights to be able to tactically dismount to hide in trees and avoid any pesky archers, or to better tackle an enemy unit who has a Ridersbane and is gunning for your horse's throat.

5 Let Us Change Alear's Hair

We know the toothpaste and Switch memes with the protagonist's hair, but seriously what is going on with Alear's two-tone hair? The female MC's hair is so obnoxiously large that it entirely covers up her design, which almost makes any customisation pointless since you can barely see anything.

Giving us the option to either change her hairstyle to be just half the length it is now would allow the character to actually be seen, instead of always seeing a sea of red and blue hair that nearly goes down to the floor. It clipsღ through every cape as well, which is an egregiou🏅s transgression.

4 More Clothes Customisation ꦏ

There are plenty of outfits to buy from the shop, but we would have liked to see individual pieces of clothing or hairstyles to play around with, instead of full-body outfits that can't be mixed and matched.

It's probably a stretch, but given all the fantastic outfits we see in the game, it would be so fun to try and come up with different pieces of armour and clothing to create a unique look for your characters.

3 ꦯ Bring Back Shadows Of Valentia Archers

Archers in Fire Emblem games have always been effectively the same across most iꦐterations, with a few exceptions. The one huge🌠 difference is the archer classes from Fire Emblem: Echoes - Shadows of Valentia which let them shoot over considerable ranges and in close quarters.

There are weapons which will accommodate this, but having Archers start off being able to shoot a measly two spaces away doesn't seem accurate to how far an archer should be able to shoot. Of course, we would also love to see high-ground advantage become a thing in Fire Emblem, and it's a bummer this hasn't been implemented here.

2 🌜Character Should Call You ꦕAlear If You Use Their Canon Name

It would be a really nice touch if Intelligent Systems and Nintendo recorded voic𒊎e lines for your party🦹 members to refer to you as Alear if you choose to keep the default name.

This was done in Fallout 4 to some extent, and we get it's a lot of lines to record, but it would make the journey feel more personal to Alear. As it stands, you can name Alear whatever you choose, but having this option would be a fun little addition.

1 𒁏 🦩 Let Us Wear Whatever Outfit We Want In Battle

This is perhaps the most unforgivable sin Engage has committed. At the time of writing, there is no way at all to wear any other outfits into battle other than the class outfit you have on. Customising your look at Somniel is solely locked to Somniel, which means even if you have all the Emblem outfits, you can't wear them into battle in your first playthrough.

This makes absolutely no sense, to be blunt𓂃. Fire Emblem outfit designs are always beautiful, and we want to be able to run around in battle wearing whatever we want. Three Houses launched without this function, but it was added at a later date. We ca🅺n but hope the same happens here with Engage.
