2020 has been a rollercoaster of a year for many, including 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fire Emblem fans. Throughout the ups and downs in our world, it was also Fire Emblem's 30th anniversary. Be൲fore 2012, Fire Emblem was a dying series that was on its last legs with its main developer Intelligent Systems stating that if the next game doesn't sell a specific number of copies, the franchise would end for good. Fortunately, that didn't happen and Fire Emblem has become one of Nintendo's best-selling series, amongst others like Mario, Pokemon, and Zelda.

2020 had other plans with the COVID-19 pandemic canceling many events, including a Fire Emblem Expo in Japan. However,ꦦ Nintendo released a teaser for Fire Emblem fans, which happened to be a localization for the very first game. So with Shadow Dragon and ⛦the Blade of Light, what else could this lead to for the beloved franchise? Here's what we thought out.

The game inspired by Famicom Wars, Shouzou Kaga created an unfﷺorgettable series that features characters and a storღy akin to a role-playing game. Japan had this exclusive title officially, as fans have translated the game to make it more accessible to international audiences. So when the trailer came out, fans were shocked that this was even happening.

To top it off, 🐬international fans are also treated to an anniversary edition that features exclusive items, such as an art book and a replica game box. The game will also include quality of life elements like speeding the game and having an unlimited Mila's Turnwheel thanks to the rewind setting.

9 Potenꦗtially Localize Other Japan Exclusive Titles

new mystery of the emblem box

To put it simply, Japan has all of the good classic games that have yet to reach outside the country. If the sales for Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light are successful, then that could potentially lead to other games such as Mystery of the Emblem and the Jugdral games be localized.

This would encourage fans to support the official releases with enough demand for the games being localized and experience them the way Japanese fans did many years ago. The fan translations, especially for Genealogy of the Holy War and Thracia 776, already do a fantastic job of bringing 𓆏the story and characters to life, but some fans aren't willing to do emulation for moral or other reasons.

8 Porting Titles Such As Path Of Radiance 🌞

Fire Emblem 10

With the likes of Super Mario 3D All-Stars available for a limited time (which we'll get to later), it is possible for Nintendo 64, GameCube, and Wii games to b❀e ported for the Switch. In the west, the only games fans could get from the Virtual Console on the Wii and Wii U were Blazing Blade, The Sacred Stones, and Shadow Dragon.

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn ♛are rare games to find, as some copies for the former are sold for up to $250 or higher. If Nintendo is willing, which is asking for a lot, porting the Tellius games would lead to having more fans to exper🅺ience Ike and Micaiah's journies.

7 Another Remake On The Way? 🔯

Fire Emblem 4

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fire Emblem Three Houses eventually bec💜ame the highest-selling game in the series, earning up to three million copies worldwide. It will take a lot of effort and hype for Fire Emblem to reach that number again. With a certain pattern going on right now, there has been a remake in between new games, with Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, released between Fates and Three Houses.

It is plausible to think that there will be a remake coming up next, and most fans are leaning towards Genealogy of the Holy War, which is in sorely need of an upgrade. There are some ideas that can transfer over from Three Houses, such as letting the player control Sigurd and walk around the castle from each chapter befor🐻e and after and interact with the playable and non-playable characters.

6 💫 More Merchandise Available In The West

Thanks to Fire Emblem becoming very popular in the west, more me♏rchandise has been released with the likes of Amiibos and plushies of popular characters. There are figmas and Nendoroids that can be shipped in🐈ternationally but were made in favor of the Japanese audience. Japan has better access to many goodies that the west would envy, like the recent music box for Fire Emblem Three Houses, which plays "The Edge of Dawn."

The original soundtrack for Three Houses will also be released in Japan on February 17, 2021, featuring tracks from the Cindered Shadows DLC. International fans can get a hold of these, but will have to pay a lot for shipping. We did see SuperGroupies release Fire Emblem-inspired watches, backpacks, and scarves plus pins, though fans could definitely use more merch🅷andise to add to their collection.

5 A Fire Emblem Area Could Be Added In Super Nintendo World 🔯

Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan

This one is a stretch, as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Super Nintendo World is currently planned to be mostly Mario themed at Universal Studios Japan, but recently, a new promo image was showcased in October, which featured Pikmin hiding in the p👍oster. That might just lead to add other Nintendo franchises into the theme park. Perhaps there could be a Zelda, Pokémon, or Animal Crossing area alongside Mario.

A Fire Emblem area would absolutely be interesting, as there are many ideas that can be impl🍨emented, like meet and greets with iconic Fire Emblem characters, r💃ides that occur during memorable chapters in each game, and maybe the ability to forge a "weapon."

4 ♛ Mother 3 Might Finally Get Localized ꦡ

Mother 3 video game
Mother 3 video game

Fire Emblem wasn't the first game to have a game get localized after years of Japan's original release date. That honor goes to Earthbound, also known as the Mother series. In 1989, the very first Earthbound game came out in Japan, and was originally planned for a localized release in the west, but got scrapped due to the SNES about to release. The Earthbound we know and love released on the SNES wo🀅uld be the only game in the series for the west to play, but then Earthbound Beginnings was announced for the Wii U Virtual Console.

As of now, Mother 3 has not ha♔d an official localization and has a high fan demand. Despite Fire Emblem being the main focus when the localization trailer came out, YouTube comments and Twitter users mentioned that there might still be hope for Lucas to finally be formally wel🌌comed to the rest of the world outside of Super Smash Bros. Once that day arrives, fans can rejoice in peace.

3 Give Ninte❀ndo An Excuse To Continue Limited Releases

Super Mario 3D All Stars limited release

In releasing ported titles on the Switch, it can lead to good and bad news. Super Mario 3D All-Stars is a genius idea that makes Nintendo's hottest console a gateway to enjoy the previous generation titles of 3D Mario games. While the idea was great, the execution was criticized by fans, due to the limited releases for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Super Mario 3D All-Stars and Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light.

Nintendo doing something akin to the Disney vault has turned off fans into not supporting these types of releases. For the anniversary editions being limited, that is warranted, but for the game it♛self being available for a limited time, that is hurting Nintendo more than doing good and will encourage people to emulate the games if they can't afford them on time. Unless Nintendo has a change of heart, both the 3D Mario game📖s and the first Fire Emblem title will be available on the eShop until March 31, 2021.

2 Another Fire Emblem Dire🔯ct?

Fire Emblem Direct 2017

It has been nearly four years since Fire Emblem got its own Direct from Nintendo. That included the announcements 🧜of Fire Emblem Heroes, a r🔜eveal for two Switch titles, which lead up to Fire Emblem Warriors and Three Houses, and an announcement trailer for Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, and that got fans incredibly excited as the franchise was expanding for the better.

So what would the next Fire Emblem Direct include? With Fire Emblem Warriors doing well sales-wise, it is possible that there might be a sequel featuring characters from Three🦩 Houses, Tellius, Elibe, and more. An in-depth look for the next Fire Emblem game is a possibility too, as Zelda recently did that with its own set of videos surrounding Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

1 ♕ 𝓀 Will Marth Win CYL5?

FEH Legendary Marth

In the first year of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fire Emblem Heroes, fans were able to vote for who the top two men and women would get brave versions in an event called Choose Your Legends. In the end, Roy, Lucina, Ike, and Lyn won, and several others would win in 🉐the next three years. Despite being the poster boy for the series, Marth has yet to win, only to be around in the top ten or get stuck in third place for three straight years.

With the very first Fire Emblem game to get localized, this could lead to Marth finally winning CYL5. Although, he will have some competition against Sigurd, Seliph, Leif, Chrom, and especially Felix, who has yet to appear in the game, but is the most wanted male character from the more recent Fire Emblem Three Houses.
