As a member of the Est archetype of characters that are recruited late into a given Fire Emblem game but can have notable payoffs if a plaꦦyer invests𒅌 in them, Kurthnaga is quite a polarizing character to players.

The only playable Black Dragon Laguz, Kurth is only available for the final chapters of Radiant Dawn and joins a player's forces at a comparably low level with middling base stats. However, Kurth offers great utility via his Night Tide ability and offers interesting strategy potential in the game's third to last chapter, as enemy dragons won't attack him.

One of the most difficult to recruit c💯haracters in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, Nasir is ♌a White Dragon Laguz with great base stats that is only obtainable if the player is able to defeat the Black Knight.

While Lethe is far from the most impressive unit in Radi𝄹ant Dawn, ✤she can be quite useful in the early and mid-game of Path of Radiance as she is playable in both Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn.

Automatically transforming at the beginning of every map, Lethe's blend of high speed and solid attack work well with her stellar mobility, allowing her to easily deal damage and help take down foes when needed.

Playable in both Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn, Giffca's functionality is quite similar between each of his appearances. He is only available during the endings of both of these games, available for the final Part of Radiant Dawn and the final chapter of Path of Radiance.

Gaffca joins a player's army as an overpowered Lion Laguz with absolutely astounding base stats. Able to tear through pretty much anything that's put in front of him, the only thing holding Giffca back is his availability.

4 🥃 C꧒aineghis - Giffca But Better

While ♛Caineghis appears in the sto🔥ry of Path of Radiance, he is only playable for the final act of Radiant Dawn. A Royal Lion Laguz, Caineghis does everything that Giffca does even better.

As a Royal Laguz, Caineghis doesn't need to worry about managing a transformation meter. This pairs well with his base stats that are some of the most absurdly high bases to be featured on any character in the series history. Like Giffca, one of the only factors holding back Caineghis is his poor availability.

3 Nailah - Basically Unstoppa𒁏ble

Another Royal Laguz, Nailah is a Royal Wolf who joins a player's army with stats that are ready for the end of the game. Despite this, unlike Giffca and Caineghis, Nailah joins a player's army during Part One, providing players with an unstoppable monster.

With devastating offensive skills, base stats, high mobility, and even additional utility in her Glare skill, even on the game's higher difficulty levels, Nailah functions as a get-out-of-jail-free card.

2 Tibarn And Naes𝕴ala - The Dynamic Duo

As far as powerful late-game units in Fire Emblem are concerned, it's hard to find stronger characters than Tibard and Naesala. A Royal Hawk and Royal Raven respectively, these characters each tote the same permanent-shift capabilities and high damage output as Caineghis and Nailah.

However, in addition to having access to stellar bꦏase stats and combat potential, these units have the added benefits that come with flying movement a✨nd canto!

Able to allow one's other units to take additional actions, dancers are widely regarded as some of the most useful and effective units in Fire Emblem history.

While the Tellius Fire Emblem games don't feature playable dancers, they instead feature three Heron Laguz, Reyson, Leanne, and Rafiel, who are incapable of dealing damage but provide the same benefits as the dancer class.

Each of these Herons offer sligh🧸t differences -- primarily within th🌞eir transformed forms that offer differing forms of utility.
