There’s a particularly large portion of the fan base arguing that siding with Edelgard, known as t෴he Crimson Flower route, is the true story of this game. While there aꦺre a lot of factors in favor of this argument, there are a lot of counterpoints.

10 🎃 True Route: Edelgard Was The Only One Who Hated The Crests

Fire Emblem Three Houses Sothis/Rhea battle stance from in game cinematic

The crests in the game play an important role in politics, religion, and warfare. These powerful artifacts come with a number of incredible powers that grant the user🅺 superhuman abilities. Because of th🎶e crests’ religious significance, many perceive them as granting the user a holier status than those who don’t possess them.

This introduces a caste system into the world where those who possess crests are superior to those who don’t. Edelgard despises this and is the only House Leader 🎉who seeks to change this.

9 Is๊n’t: Edelgard Kills Everyone

It’s hard to call the Crimson Flower path the true story for the hero when it results in the death of almost every major character in the game. Killing Claude, chopping off Dimitri’s head, slaying Rhea, and overthrowing🍌 every major political party in the realm through assassinations, warfare, and other measures, isn’t typically something a hero does.

This might make sense for Edelgard, but it’s a bit strange for Byleth to be pursuing this path🎃 of bloodshed and annihilation. In the other routes, most heroes survive, suggesting Edelgard’s path is more villainous andꦚ less noble than it claims.

8 True Route: Unites All Factions ✃

That being said, the Crimson Flower path is the only one that leads to complete and utter unity in the realm. The Church, Fodlan, and the peace of the region, is only achieved through her path. Dimitri as king in Azure Moon is still striving for 💧a better and safer world, Claude in Verdant Wind is seeking to establish a lasting peace with Fodlan, and the Church in Silver Snow still has the daunting task of appeasing the other empires.

Edel😼gard’s is the only one where the major factions are aligned under one banner and working towaꦺrds a singular unified goal.

7 Isn’t: Edelgard Is Everyone’s Vil𓄧ꦐlain

Of course, t🌌hat unity was achieved by being the villain for everyone else. In every other story route in this game, Edelgard is a major villain that must be slain to achieve victory. The reasons and circumstances may change, but peace a♔nd victory cannot be obtained with her still alive.

It’s h൲ard to imagine Edelgard🐟’s path being the true story given her way or the highway mentality. If the only thing stopping peace is her continued struggles for revolution it puts into question whether her heart is in the right place or not.

6 True Route: Edelgard Is a Warmonger In A Game About War 💟

This ignores the lore to some degree, but in a game that has you waging war and participating in battles it only makes sense that the true path would be about conquest. If you’re playing a game about shooting demons like in Doom Eternal than your true path is the on🐻e that le♏ads to shooting demons.

The Fire Emblem series is about conquest, military dominance, and battlefield tactics. Given Edelgard’s story is about using military mi൲ght to achieve her ends rather than diplomacy or peace it suggests that hers is the true story.

5 🏅 Isn’t: It’s The Shortest Route

Of course, the major caveat with that argument is that the Crimson Flower route is the shortest path to victory. In a game with warfare and combat, you’d think the true route would involඣve the most battles.

Three Houses is also unique from other Fire Emblem games in that dialogu🀅e and social interaction is a major component of the game. It stands to reason that diplomacy and neg꧅otiations would also be crucial to the main story as it’s needed to raise strong warriors, something absent in Crimson Flower.

4 🌜 True Route: It’s The Only One ♈With A Choice

Unique to Black Eagles is the fact that the player can choose to side with Edelgard or break off and fight with the Church. Both 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Blue Lions and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Golden Deer have singular paths with no variaꦿnce, when y🐈ou sign up with Dimitri you are by Dimitri’s side in the end.

In a game riddled with choices, such as who to mentor, toཧ join, how to train your students and so on it makes sense that the main story would have the most choices for the player to make.

3 💮 Isn’t: Verdant Winds Has You Fight Nemesis

Nemesis has been a major force of evil in the background of the story as he’s responsible for s🦹tealing the remains of Sothis from her t𓂃omb, used the Sword of the Creator to slaughter innocents, used their bodies to fuel his powers, and a number of other horrific acts against both the gods and man before being slain by Seiros.

෴The Verdant Winds path if you side with Claude and the Golden Deer is the only one that features Nemesis as a boss. With the other stories, he remains a deceased foe of a bygone era. The other’s have you facing members of the church, House lead🉐ers, and Edelgard, this is the only one to have you pitted against a minion of Those Who Slither In The Dark at the end.

2 True Route: Ac✃tuᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚally Take Out TWSITD

While Claude’s route is the only one that has you destroy a reanimated villain of TWSITDཧ, Edelgard’🦹s Crimson Flower route is the only one that results in TWSITD’s utter demise. Every other version of the game leaves the organization intact in some way.

Sure leaders might be killed, resurrected foes stopped, and powerful artifacts recovered, but Edelgard is the only one that removes this cult from the land and permanently eradicates this evil. With every other storyജline they remain in the shadows likely to carry out further atrocities.

1 Isn”t: She Joins The TWSITD ♐

Of course, the glaring problem with Crimson Flower being the true route is that Edelgard willingly sides with TWSITD to carry out her ends. It’s temporary and one that she makes amends for by destroying them later, but it i♏s troubling for the main story to have you side with the single faction that’s the most undeniably evil.

You may have issues with the Church, ♏Dimitri, Fodlan, or any other group and debate their morality, but TWSITD is the one that everyone can agr⛄ee is evil and you join forces with them in Crimson Flower.
