Do you remember when Fire Emblem: Three Houses gave Byleth a solid 45 minutes to an hour before Lady Rhea popped the question, and it was high time to choose a class? 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes rather cuts to the chase, providing half as much time and not as thorough a getting-to-kno𒁃w-you session with your fellow students. The choice is yours, and it must be made swiftly.

This makes a certain degree of sense. After all, Three Hopes doesn't spend nearly ไas long during the school phase. War is coming, and a few key breaks in the original game's narrꦑative hasten that fact considerably.

Getting to Know the Black Eagles in Three Hopes

Fire Emblem Three Hopes Choosing Black Eagles

The Black Eagles are led by Edelgard, who is next in line to become emperor of the huge Adrestian Empire. Most of the class is fiercely loyal to Edelgard and the imperial way of life, though even the proud Ferdinand doesn't stoop so l𝄹ow as to behave as though citizens of the empire are superi𒁃or beings.

Indeed, they're as approachable a bunch as the other two classes — with a significant exception. Hubert embodies coldness, and his watchful gaze shall be upon Shez nearly as much as it was for Byleth. And Hubert tried to poison Byleth, so yeah.

Why should you choose the Black Eagles in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes? Let's take two approaches here, shall we?

The Black Eagles

Gameplay Perspective

Narrative Perspective

  • Edelgard
  • Hubert
  • Ferdinand
  • Petra
  • Caspar
  • Bernadetta
  • Dorothea
  • Linhardt
  • Monica
  • The Black Eagles feature a higher number of magic specialists than either of the other houses. Hubert, Dorothea, and Monica are all excellent in this regard. Linhardt is the game's best healer.
  • By contrast, they're somewhat lacking in more physically up-front sorts; Edelgard makes a fine warrior type, Ferdinand has the horseback side covered, and Caspar's a pure brute.
  • Your forces may struggle at times to contain swarms of sword-bearing foes, and only Bernadetta is around for archery.
  • Neither of the other houses more willingly crosses perceived ethical lines quite like the Black Eagles. Edelgard has the most fixed and dedicated goal, and she's willing to go far to realize it.
  • It's not a joyless journey, but Black Blaze is perhaps the closest to morose. Still, the cast is diverse enough to provide levity along the way.
  • Many fans agree that Edelgard is among Fire Emblem's most morally complex and intriguing characters.
  • In Three Houses, the character of Monica suffers a rough fate and merely masquerades as an ally. It's fun to see her come into her own in Three Hopes.

Getting to Know the Blue Lions in Three Hopes

Blue Lions Three Hopes

Dimitri leads the B🎐lue Lions. One day, he will rule as King of Faerghus, Edelgard's secrets can come as a shock in Three Houses, but Dimitri's character arc is perhaps all the more stunning. His quiet, reserved, and thoroughly noble nature masks a more complicated man, and it's not unusual for fans of the first game to have dismissed him as trite, chosen a different house, and only much later on realized they misse🥂d something big.

The Blue Lions are the most "put together" of the trio, and this fact extends into Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. Every character is appropriately unique, but their belief in Dimitri and Faerghus lends an Arthurian air that prevents them from much internal 🌃squabbling throughout the story.

The Blue Lions

Gameplay Perspective

Narrative Perspective

  • Dimitri
  • Dedue
  • Ingrid
  • Felix
  • Mercedes
  • Sylvain
  • Ashe
  • Annette
  • Rodrigue
  • The Blue Lions contain the most courtly of classes. What we mean by that is there is an emphasis on lancers, all of whom can make fine cavaliers.
  • Felix backs them up with precision swordplay, whilst Ashe is the house's archer. Mercedes heals, and Annette is the only mage.
  • Like the Golden Deer, the Blue Lions are a bit low on magic types. As such, take care not to let them be overwhelmed by enemy spellcasting. Also, consider keeping a unit like Sylvain away from mounted classes, so that you have fewer issues with archers.
  • In Three Hopes, the Blue Lions have the glummest of starts. The Holy Kingdom is in disarray, and it seems like everyone stands against Dimitri from the get -go, or will soon declare as such.
  • Still, there is a noble air to it all. It feels not unlike a good fantasy romance, not in the relationship sense but more the grand, sweeping tale of a king's throne reclaimed.
  • You'll have, by far, the most story with the Church of Seiros for much of the route. Rhea, Seteth, Flayn, and the rest of them get more development.

Getting to Know the Golden Deer in Three Hopes

Fire-Emblem-Three-Hopes-Choosing-Golden-Deer-1

The Leicester Alliance is a somewhat loose conglomeration of nobles who have banded together to form a quasi-democratic regime. The Golden Deer know better than anyone else what it's like to deal with political deadlo𝄹cks and the disruptions caused by representatives whose concerns seldom branch beyond their own welfare (and, hopefully, the welfare of their subjects as well).

Growing up under such conditions, the house leader, Claude, has developed into an exceptionally crafty young man. He has schemes within schemes, and he needs them to🌠 navigate the tempestuous currents of Leicester. Additionally, your group must contend with invaders from another land. It's not easy being in the Alliance, but there are economic freedoms here that cannot be enjoyed elsewhere.

With so many competing outlooks within the realm, anticipate a fair degree of frictio💧n between the characters. Not in any extreme sense — ultimately, they're friends, and they'll stick together to the end — but differing perspectives will put them at odds with their peers on more than a few occasions.

The Golden Deer

Gameplay Perspective

Narrative Perspective

  • Claude
  • Lorenz
  • Hilda
  • Lysithea
  • Raphael
  • Ignatz
  • Marianne
  • Leonie
  • Holst
  • Between Claude and Ignatz, you've got two archers at the start. Since Shamir can join the Golden Deer much sooner than she would with the Black Eagles or Blue Lions, that's a whopping three archers to your name.
  • By contrast, only Lysithea serves as an innately powerful mage, and Marianne sort of doubles as a healer and somewhat capable striker. The Golden Deer, perhaps more so than the Blue Lions, are lacking in magical acumen. You may come to rely on Shez for this.
  • Lorenz and Leonie vie for horseback roles. Hilda, Raphael, and Holst are all pure attackers.
  • The Leicester Alliance doesn't need to deal with internal strife to the extent that the Kingdom of Faerghus. Nevertheless, treachery looms.
  • Claude is a fun leader. He's charismatic despite, or perhaps due to, his enigmatic ways. He's genuinely funny, whereas Edelgard and Dimitri are more stiff.
  • The Golden Deer story's first part (of two) is probably the most different of the three, and the least continental in scale.

Who Should You Choose?

Fodlan Map Three Hopes

We understand it can be frustrating to reach the end of a guide like this one with a somewhat disappointing "it's up to you, actually!" conclusion. And, while there truly is no wrong house order in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, we'll still provide you with one suggestion. Again, please don't treat this as gospel. You ▨should have just as much fun and narrative compreꦡhension no matter which order you take.

That said, our only recommendation, and it's a soft one, is Blue Lions -> Black Eagles -> Golden Deer. The Blue Lions have probably the most balanced force overall, especially once you can grab another mage or two to aid Annette in her duties. The classica🅰l Fire Emblem vibe to Dimitri's stru🙈ggle is a nice introduction (rather, reintroduction) to Fodlan.

Afterward, the Black Eagles make for the biggest break in structure. You'rജe on the other side now, and you'll get a better idea what makes Edelgard tick, and who her true enemies are in this alternate reality from Three Houses. Lastly, the Golden Deer will help to ꩲclarify a few things that are understandably left by the wayside in the other routes.
