Fire-type Pokemon are very likely the most popular of the elemental families in the entire Pokemon series. They represent intense power and strength alongside all kinds of creatures from the animal kingdom😼. These can often be the strongest Pokemon in the game with classics like Charizard and Moltres still being powerhouses to this very day.
Quite ironically, Fire-types are also the victims of more weaknesses than many other Pokemon in the series. They natively suffer from ℱWater, Ground, and Rock-type moves. Unfortunately, when adding on certain subtypes, there are many ways that the most beloved Fire-types can be taken down with zero ꦓtrouble.
10 Charizꦛard - Ic𒁃e, Rock, Electric, And Water
While this 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Kanto starter isn't the weakest Fire-type in terms of its weakness list, it's still regrettably vulnerable to a lot of different moves. This is primarily because of its Flying-type addition. Thi🔯s makes it significantly more vulnerable to Electric-type moves and four times as vulnerable to Rock-type moves.
Otherwise, it doesn't have a whole lot of other unusual weaknesses besides Water-type attacks. That said, its Flyin👍g-type nature also eliminates its resis♛tance to Ice-type moves, giving it a significant disadvantage.
9 Volcarona - Wꦗater, Rock, And Flying♈
It might s𒊎urprise you to know that Volcarona isn't that much weaker than Charizard as it shares many traits like the quadruple damage received by Rock-type moves. This is because, despite b❀eing Bug-type instead of a Flying-type, it still can resist Ground-type moves to give a similar resistance to Charizard's immunity.
Unfortun🌊ately, it still suffers from a weakness to Water-type moves, and even an additional one to Flying-type moves thanks to this unique typing. This combo does give Volcarona a very unique set of Special Attack option🌃s, but the Rock and Flying-type weaknesses make it extremely weak against many popular physical attackers like Talonflame.
8 𓂃 Pyroar - Water, Ground, Rock, And Fighting
While not returning in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokemon Sword & Shield, Pyroar is one of many Normal-type Pokemon with an additional typing that doesn't do it any favors. This eliminates none of ♊the normal weaknesses of Fire-types like Water, Ground, or Rock-type moves, and inste♋ad adds on an extra weakness to Fighting-type moves, as well.
This is pretty standard with most generations with others like the Normal and Grass-type Sawsbuck and the even more disappointing Normal and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fairy-type Jigglypuff. These Pokemon are certainly quite flavorful and cute, but this combination makes them extreme🧸ly unexciting compared to oღther options of either type.
7 Blaziken - Wꦍater, Ground, Flying, And Psychic
The first of the long-time trend of Fire and Fighting-type starters began with Blaziken from the Hoenn region. It's a tradition that is certainly not missed due to their ludicrous number of weaknesses. The 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fighting-type trait does get rid of the Rock-👍type weakness, but tha🌟t hardly makes up for the much more common Water and Ground-type vulnerabilities.
What's worse is that this weakness comes with many non-elemental weaknesses like Flying and Psychic, making Blaziken a huge liability against opponents of several styles. It can still deal ♎out quite a lot of mixed damage but don't expect it to be as defensive as it is offensive.
6 Incineroar - Fighting,ℱ Water, And Fairy
While not the same combination as Blaziken, the massively popular luchador kitty Incineroar has its own share of wide weaknesses. Few of them generally matter thanks to its great bulk and Attack-decreasing hidden ability Intimidate. But much like Blaziken, this combination opens Incineroar up to a lot of no🗹n-elemental pain.
⛦This combination adds Fighting-type weakness tಞo the mix, as well as removing the resistance to Fairy-type moves that Fire-types normally get. Despite being a wrestler itself, this weakness is perhaps the strangest aspect of Incineroar's flavor, but once again its bulk means still can absolutely take more hits than you'd expect.
5 Salazzle - Water, Psychic,💫 Ground, And Rock
Many players were waiting a long time for a Poison and Fire-type combination, and thankfully that came with the gorgeous Salandit and Salazzle in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Alola region. It🔯's no surprise that this combination of types is extremely high-risk, but the offense it has from special moves like Sludge Bomb and Flamethrower together is priceless.
Salazzle will take serious hits from Water, Ground, Psychic, and Rock-type m𒆙oves, with Ground-type moves doing twice as much damage to Salazzle as its other weaknesses. Ideally, you should always just make sure your lizard can run faster than its foe because it's certainly not going to survive a turn against most physical or special attacking foes.
4 Galarian Darmanitan - Fighting, 🍬Rock, Water, And Ground
While there's a later Pokemon that shares the Fire and Psychic combination with the Zen Mode form of Unova's Darmanitan, the Zen Mode of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Galarian Darmanitan has an even more one-of-a-kind combination worth discussing. Thi꧋s would be Fire and Ice-type -- something that you'll likely be very disappointed by when it comes out⛎ at half health.
If you get hit with a Water, Fighting, Ground, or especiall✱y a Rock-type move, you'l꧅l be taken down almost immediately with this odd form. This would be amazing to use with more health to survive stronger hits, but as it is it still makes for a truly menacing physical attacker.
3 Coalossal - Fighting, Water, Rock, And Ground 🧔 🍸
Coalossal is one of the few unusual Pokemon that has so many weaknesses that they're baked into this Pokemon's main competitive strategy. Thanks to its Gigantamax Form, it can take 🍬four times the damage with Water-type moves and gain a huge boost of stats from the Steam Engine ability and Weakness Policy Item, but it's got plenty of backup weaknesses to help it furဣther.
These would be Ground, Fighting, and Rock-type moves, but an important note is that Water and Ground are both four-times weaknesses. Few 🅰Pokemon have two dual weaknesses like this and, while Coalossal can usually take﷽ the hit, you should still always be wary of any tougher opponents it might be up against before gaining a boost of stats.
2 🐼 Alolan Marowak - Ghost,𝓀 Water, Dark, Rock, And Ground
Alolan Marowack is one of a surprising list of 𒊎Pokemon with the Ghost and Fire-type combination. However, it's hardlyꦛ a good recipe for a defensive fighter. There aren't as many quadruple weaknesses as with Coalossal, but this Pokemon has a solid five weaknesses in the form of Water, Ground, Rock, Ghost, and Dark-type moves.
The same weaknesses can be had from the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Ultra Beast Blacephalon and the Chandelure family,♈ but both of these Pokemon have much greater speed stats to outrun these weaknesses. Alolan Marowak slowly scuttles along with much shorterജ legs, making it the worst victim of this questionable combination.
1 🎐 Victini - Water, Ghost, Rock, Dark, And Ground
The last and most vulnerable Pokemon in the Fire-type is only a few inches above Marowak and the other Fire and Ghost-types. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The legendary Victini has an extremely similar combination of Fire and Psychic-type. Ghost a🌺nd Psychic-types are extremely close in battle style, so it𒅌 should be no surprise that it has the exact same weaknesses of Rock, Ground, Ghost, Dark, and Water-type moves.
What makes Victini slightly worse is that it lacks the full vulnerabilities that Ghost-type Pokemon have. It might resist Fighting-type moves, but Alolan Marowak and Chandelure can entirely dodge all Fighting and Normal-type moves to compensate for its weaknesses. With Victini, you'♋re going to take at least a little damage from nearly any attack that comes its way.
