A couple of videos showcasing the first two hours of Dying Light 2 have appeared online, less than a week from its launch date. After 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:multiple delays, Techland's parkour-fueled, zombie apocalypse game will finally take the leap on February 4. Unfortunately, it seems that it's not only the Harran Virus that has leaked, as the videos reveal the game's opening cinematic, general gameplay, crafting, and skill tree.
Without getting into any spoilers, the opening cinematic reveals how the world of Dying Light 2 came to be, and – as with most zombie apocalypses – greedy corporations are to blame. The crafting system looks awfully similar to that of every survival game; you can collect crafting material using your 'Survivor Sense' and combine it with others to make jerry-rigged tools and consumables.
As for the skill tree, it looks like your parkour skills will not only help you in terms of movement, but unlocking certain skills will also help you reach areas that were previously inaccessible. The combat sequences reveal a variety of zombie types, not necessarily in line with what we've been used to seeing. The videos are currently up on YouTube and you can expect them to be taken down pretty soon.
While these videos only show two hours worth of gameplay, there's still 498 hours more packed into the game according to Techland. The developer said that it will take 500 hours for p✅layers to 100🅰 percent the game. However, this announcement didn't get the reaction that they were hoping for, as replies immediately started talking about bloated content and time consuming fetch quests.
This caused the team to clarify, saying "It's about 100% completion rate, most of the players who are in for story and side quests will be able to complete the game quicker, it will still be a solid experience though!" It seems that the main story will take around 20 hours to complete, and 80 if you're planning on completing all the side quests as well.
If you somehow manage to clock those 500 hours and still want more Dying Light 2 – fear not – Techland has vowed that the game will be supported for at least f𝄹ive years.
