168澳洲幸运5开奖网:F.I.S.T: Forged In Shadow Torch is an action-packed Metroidvania that focuses on exploration and fast-paced combat. Players can expect to punch, drill and whip their way through legions of Iron Dogs, the game's main antagonists. Thro🐼ugh diverse 𝕴environments such as a prison, fortress, and neon-soaked streets, the player will be tasked with dispatching varied enemies all while trying to save their friends.
From giant mechanized fists to exploding puppets, F.I.S.T: Forged In Shadow Torch has three weapons and three Devices for the player to use. By collecting blueprints, unlocking new moves, and upgrading your weapons, yo♑u can make Raymond the rabbit the most powerful F♔urtizen in all of Torch City. But which weapons are the best at taking out your foes?
6 ♋ Exploding Puppet ꩲ
The exploding puppet is a rare device that is rather difficult to unlock. Players must venture out into the world of Torch City and uncover 20 Plant Seeds that are hidden throughout its labyrinthine streets and corridors. Once they've collected them all they have to head to Joffre Street and talk to Pippin who they first have to rescue from the Prison. After giving Pippin his Plant Seeds, he'll bestow upon the player the Exploding Puppet.
The Exploding Puppet is a handy Device that can deal some serious damage to a lot of enemies thanks to its wide AOE attack. However, the difficulty in actually obtaining it, on top of its limited use due to it being tied directly to your SP, means that it isn't as useful as other Devices in F.I.S.T: Forged In Shadow Torch. For trophy hunters, however, collecting this Device is a must as there is a trophy tied to its use.
5 🌼 Homiꦜng Missle
Like 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:all the classic Metroid titles before it, F.I.S.T: Forged In Shadow Torch has a missile launcher. Only this one isn't attached to your arm, nor do you need to collect missiles for it. Instead, after unlocking it during the prison breakout mission, players can utilize it to deal damage to a targeted enemy.
The base Homing Missle weapon isn't particularly useful outside of that prison breakout mission. However, by collecting all of the Gun Plan blueprints scattered across Torch City, the player can upgrade their Homing Missle and make it unbelievably strong. While it certainly isn't a substitute for any of the more significant weapons, it can certainly pack a punch. As a helpful distraction to stagger stronger enemies, the Homing Missle can be incredibly valuable.
4 Shock Baton ♛
While exploring the Power Station you might come across the Shock Baton. This invaluable Device serves as the game's only way to parry attacks and as such is incredibly useful. As it can be fo🐬und during the earl🧔y game, quickly acquiring the Shock Baton will mean having a substantial advantage during combat encounters.
Like every other Device in F.I.S.T: Forged In Shadow Torch, the Shock Baton can be upgraded to become even better. However, even at level one, the Shock Baton is still by far the most useful Device of the three. While the Homing Missle and Exploding Puppet actively do damage, F.I.S.T: Forged In Shadow Torch's lack of defensive moves means that the Shock Baton is the only way to defend yourself outside of dashing.
3 The Drill
The Drill is the second main weapon that the player will discover and has plenty of applications in both combat encounters and traversal. Its most prominent use is as a devastating weapon that can deal impressive amounts of damage to multiple enemies. Through unlocking the various moves attached to it, you'll be able to use it as an enormous sawblade or to summon deadly whirlwinds that knockback anything caught inside.
Outside of combat, the Drill is extremely useful while exploring. What makes F.I.S.T: Forged In Shadow Torch an easy contender for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:one of the best modern Metroidvanias available is its ability to ensure that no weapon or device goes unused whenever something new is unlocked. The Drill's ability to allow the player to glide over air vents is indispensable during certain missions. Additionally, the Drill is necessary for opening many of the game's locked doors. While it isn't as useful in combat as the other two weapons, it is certainly an impressive and fun weapon to use.
2 The Fist
The Fist is the first weapon players will get during F.I.S.T: Forged In Shadow Torch's relatively lengthy runtime. While it doesn't have as many impressive applications as the other two main weapons, its simplicity and brutish nature make it all the more enjoyable to use. Pummelling legions of the I🌸ron Dogs with a giant fist is incredibly satisfying, and tearing apart air vents while exploring feels exhilarating.
Additionally, the Fist has some of the best unlockable moves. While they're certainly not as flashy as the other two weapons' moves, they're incredibly useful in combat. The uppercut attack is a necessary upgrade early on, especially when you're dealing with flying enemies. The Fist can also decimate an enemy's shield with a wind-up attack, making it an essential part of any player's arsenal.
1 The Whip
The Whip is the last weapon you'll acquire during your time in Torch City and is by far the best. Its frantic nature not only makes it the fastest and most agile weapon out of the three, but is also incredibly exhilarating to use. Cracking the Whip and hitting multiple enemies at oꩲnce while sparks scatter into the air is a marvelous sight to behold. The sheer electrifying carnage behind clearing out a group of enemies with the pow🐲erful Whip is dynamic and extremely entertaining.
Additionally, the Whip's use in exploration is nothing to scoff at. It can be used to dash upwards by latching onto certain points. Like with each weapon, finally unlocking it means that you'll be able to head back to earlier stages and uncover hidden secrets that were previously out of reach. It is an extremely fun and rewarding weapon that feels like a perfect evolution in both power and moves for the final stages of an exceptional game.
