For those not up to date with their Five Nights at Freddy's lore, the animatronic known as Springtrap is actually possessed by the spirit of William Afton, w🅷ho dies whilst hiding inside the Spring Bonnie suit from the spirits of ❀the children he murdered. Afton is killed via a process fans called "springlocking", as the suit's exoskeleton malfunctions and skewers whoever is inside.
Given that Afton appears to be alive and well in the movie, see꧅mingly giving protagonist Mike Schmidt his job at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, fans are convinced that Afton will be springlocked at some point. If that does happen, it means that the movie will shake up the Five Nights at Freddy's lore a little bit, but it's probably be fine since series creator Scott Cawthorn h🔯as been heavily involved in production.
Springtrap/Spring Bonnie's brief appearance wasn't the only fun little discovery in the movie's latest trailer, as populꦗar Five Night at Freddy's YouTuber Cory Ke🍷nshin was also spotted. It's unlikely that he'll be a big part of the movie, especially since he appears to be playing a taxi driver, though his appearance is a fun little nod for his fans and for Five Night at Freddy's fans in general. We're still yet to 𒁏confirm if Markiplier is in the movie 𝓀at all, something that are fans are itching to find ou🧸t.
